thats pretty nice but nothing yet beats the first fhp for me. id say this is easily the 2nd best.

the first fhp is awesome. this one is pretty close. maybe ill change my mind once i see it in person.

I honestly think the 1st is under appreciated, it hurts me every time I see one for sale.
To be honest, ALL the FHPs kick serious ass!!!!
But there's something about the first that really does it, spot on!

In all honesty I'd kinda like a few more colours on the Captain palette . . . seems Orange, brown, gold (and now copper!) tones are pretty much the mainstay . . . digging the Turq just because it mixes it a lil' . . . a similar deal in deep reds, blues or even mono/silver would slay!

. . . . and the silver pewter rub from the store display would be a no brainer! :shock:

I cant wait to get this guy, as of right now its the only thing I really want and need.

I like how the colors stay very similar. Its continuity that really pulls this line along. All color releases so far have been very classy time proven color palettes. They all work and supplement each other on a shelf and mesh well with his hand paints ( if you happen to have any).

i had a feeling we'd be seeing a hooked captain. didnt think it would be at sdcc though. itll look good next to the stumpy captain. hope i can score one of those captains
