I had to post the first pic over on KR, just to get a laugh at all the little kiddies going crazy... and I would also love a GID dissected, w/ said different color GID guts.... |

Imagine if he redid the sculpt with removable innards like the anatomy models in biology class? Then you could cast the innards in different coloured vinyl and insert or remove them. |

If you're afraid of getting duped, just keep track of what's been released and you should have no problem, really. Useless: posting the GID fakes over at KR just to watch the fallout was the smart play. |

I actually wish these were just a tad crappier, but I like them more than the originals. |

Having to pay the bills to get toys made can be hard, and because of that its really hard for me to condone booting vinyl on principle. You're basically coasting on the work and investment of other people to line your own pockets. Bootlegging characters with crappy/amazing new sculpts is another matter entirely, though, and one I can wholeheartedly condone. That said... I want those bootlegged dissecteds. I want to buy them and paint them ridiculous colors and have a blast. That pearly one is TIGHT, and this coming from a guy who really wouldn't pay more than $20 for any Kaws toy besides maybe the KvP (I could possibly be talked into paying $45 or so for that although I would balk a bit). |

Watch those boots. Sometimes they look good in photos, but when they make them, they just chop the articulation apart. Most of the time the articulation is terrible, joints don't fit right- to the point where you can't even move them sometimes, you'll have gaps, there will be tears in the mushroom caps. I've picked up boots for cheap just for fun and for reference, but never throw down big. You'll be nothing but disappointed- from my experience. |
