Post subject:  Jason Jacenko/Atomika needs some help

i'm posting this info because jason is a friend of mine and has been amazingly supportive over the years. apparently jason jacenko is quite ill and the docs don't know what is wrong with him. since he is from australia and lacks health insurance. he has racked up a big hospital bill here in the US. just thought i would post this for those of you who know who he is or collect his artwork.

here is the post from KR:

as some of you know, atomika was admitted into an LA intensive care hospital for testing. as of now, they are not sure what the issue is, but we hope to find out soon.

i am selling some pieces for him to help raise funds for his medical bills. he is from australia and has no health insurance in the US.

you can paypal him directly to purchase a piece or to just help out.
his paypal is uncle_pervie@hotmail.com

please PM me, so i can know what you paid for and package them for mailing. jason has a huge waiting list for art, so this would be a good opportunity to grab something if you are a fan of his art.

in the next month or so, huck and i will put our heads together and organize a large ebay fundraiser for jason. so stay tuned for details. if you are an artist and can help donate something, please pm me.

thank you for helping. ally

Wow that's bad news - Jason's a talented guy and his airbrush work is insane on the customs he's done.

agreed. from what i understand, along with some other complications, he basically lost his eyesight overnight. it has recovered a little bit, but his vision is still quite terrible.

if all works out, i am going to meet up with him sometime in the next week since he is staying only a few miles away from me.
