Yes, the vinyl figure's guts will be paper, not plastic. The price for the vinyl is still being finalized, but Alen indicates it will be $79 or under. However, you can pre-order it now for ONE LOUSY PENNY. The site indicates that the run size will be based on the pre-order numbers, so if you want one, click now or forever hold your peace... |

I'm not much of a robot guy but this clear mecha dude rocks...!!! been very skeptical about buying clear pieces and watching them turn yellow over time...

Based on the proto shot I'd say produced by Gargamel and Japanese... the proto looks like glass. |

It's definitely Japanese (specifically, Gargamel) vinyl. I have a couple crystal-clear Gargamel pieces and they show no signs of yellowing. Can anyone else comment on that?? Anyway, I snagged some pre-insert pics last week as well:

Gargamel isn't producing this, Incubot is. It's not a Gargamel toy, although Ikeda-san sculpted it and I believe it's being made in the same factory that Gargamel uses. |
