That figure is beautiful and my favorite version of the dissected companion. I wish I could afford the price tag. |

The 4' disecteds are pretty cool, but I'm curious if they retain their value? Has anyone ever seen one for sale in the aftermarket? |

I wonder how much it costs to produce one of these (plastic, steel, & foam)? These are cool, not 4K cool. Quote: No shit. What are these, about $4K? $4200 shipped |

Interesting. So take as many orders as you can in 3 minutes and then shut it down as sold? Yeah, bendys, blitz and maybe even accomplices probably in bins in some warehouse. But 5YL companions still getting big prices. I could never go for such a large single piece. Would rather diversify across say 40 $100 figures or even 20 $200 figures. If I scratched or damaged a 4ft, I'd get so depressed. Maybe pick up a roughed up one in fifteen years for a quarter of the price. |

probably sold out fast because i'm pretty sure you could easily make $500 minimum. i really want one... but yeah, i'm with liquidsky, i'd be super bummed if i damaged it in any way and it's just too big and pricey for me to have hangin' around |

How is it production on demand when they say they will be shipping in 3-5 days? Trying to guess numbers based on the time it took to sell is kinda pointless. There are so many variables that need to come into play. |

I realize I'm opening myself to some serious hate here, but I bought one of these things. And not from Kawsone.com either, I paid $800 extra from ToyTokyo to ensure I'd get one. I'm not a baller or a day trader - I just decided to sell the rest of my Kaws toys (which I paid retail for when they were released) to buy this, because I never want to get laid again. I mean, because it's such a strong statement of what Kaws is all about and I personally love it. Hopefully one day I'll be able to pair it with one of his more recent large canvases. As for the edition size, it wouldn't surprise me if they produced 200 instead of 100 (they made 1000 of the original dissecteds) but there's no way they're being made to order. I'm relatively certain all the ones allocated for the Americas were in country as of last week; mine shipped on the 4th and will be here monday. |
