Wow, that is a nice one. The sparing use of paint wash really brings out the details on the head without overwhelming the total appearance.

Since it appears I'll be getting 2 of the toys on my want list (got one already) I'm going to have to pass on this release.

I'll be at Rotofugi when they open friday anyway though since a friend of mine will be getting it. Thought maybe I could get one for someone here if they really want it, and are afraid they will miss it.

First person who seems reputable to PM me I guess?

I like the paint app on this one. It really drives that sea creature look home.

Beautiful piece and really glows nice and bright. See that sitting on a shelf when it's really dark looks like a floating swamp beast ready to pounce.

odd thing the right arm on mine is a different vinyl, I could only tell the difference when I had it under a black light, while glowing in the dark they look the same

Post subject:  Re: GID Muscamoot

I don't know why things like that happen..but I've dismantled pieces for customs and found limbs and what not made of completely different vinyl. You'd think it'd be more significant in a piece like this considering it glows. I will have to check mine when I get home from work.Maybe they're all like that.

This one was my first Muscamoot. Very impressed. Larger than I was expecting, and very impressive sculpt. I love the way the mouth is slightly open. I'll be keeping my eyes open for future Lake Monsters releases.

Should check this section more often. Can't believe I missed that Musca. First version I'd really like to get...

Did you see Chris got offered a contract teaching kids in Japan how to paint monsters? How cool is that?
