After a long silence from Antoinette (2002-----2010) Suddenly she seems to be back in 2 new colorways "Black" from http://www.3DRetro.com and "Pink Hair" from http://www.lulubelltoys.com ![]() ![]() ![]() I've grabbed all 3 available colors that I've seen, but does anyone else know what might be in the works for our little orphan? I hope there's more variants on the way! |

The first version was released years and years ago, I remember seeing one in a record shop back in 2003-2004ish. The size of it really impressed me...that & it's a quality toy. |

Blue Dress/Blonde hair is the original. I don't think there were any other colors back then. I've had mine for years, and was excited to see some new versions popping up in small runs. ** Edit after some research, I found that there was a slight variant. There was a more common blue eyed version and a less common green eyed. |

Ok-I'm officially driving myself a little nuts now- I have 2 of the blonde version & both have green eyes. Either I'm very lucky, the blue is actually the rare variant, or there is no variant. Anyone know? |

There was a variant of the original Antoinette doll - but I think it was the green-eyed version, released only in Japan, and the blue-eyed version was the domestic release. I'm going by memory so take it with a grain of salt. |

Thanks. I bought both of mine domestically and both are green eyed, so I think Blue must have been the jp only. |

mega. nate's a cool guy. he taught me everything I know about making toys. I remember he did most of the stuff for Long Gone John. I once saw a prototype Mark Ryden toy he did that was only made for Mark Ryden, Long Gone John & Gaston from Melt/Span of Sunset I believe. |
