Hey everyone, just wanted to thank everyone who complimented me on this figure at SDCC. This figure was a collaboration between me and Kazu from Itokin Park. I designed it and Kazu has been meticulously sculpting this for the past year. He was able to bring a handful to SDCC so we could all get a look at his masterful design. Kazu is a man of many talents and it was an honor to work with him. Maybe some day this will be realized in vinyl.

Damn, Kazu really knows how to work with resin. That casting looks flawless and seamless. You can really tell a lot of work went into these castings. I'd rather have the resin than a vinyl for that reason. But since I doubt that will happen I'll be waiting for the vinyl.

I remembered hearing about this back before the new year. And it's finally here! Such contrasting styles between you and Kazu-san. I love it! Kazu's resins are a force to be reckoned with and I am fortunate to have a few as they're spectacular in person. I too would like to see a vinyl version sometime in the future. Congrats Joel!

Here's some early shots of it being sculpted. Hope you don't mind Joel.

Curious--when you say hopefully one day it will be realized in vinyl, is there a possibilty that it won't? Who decides?

I guess ultimately me and Kazu make that decision but in the mean time, got to find the funds to produce it.

Chad? Thanks man. Good seeing you at the airport. Got a chance to hang with a fellow skullbrainer when you're waiting for your flight is always a win win situation. Although I ended up losing because I got bumped from that flight. :D See you at NYCC!

Man...
I swear this was sculpted using Kazu precision magic calipers.I couldn't believe it.
This thing warranted a bonfire circle jerk in front of the Crossover booth.

Pictures do not do this resin justice, the quality and character are over the top. Joel's creativity and intense detail are the perfect match for Kazu's sculpting and pouring skills. Every inch of this little guy is interesting. I don't know if vinyl will ever happen but it would be well worth the wait and effort.

There is a rumor, it may hit vinyl in the future. Hope this rumor is true :) I would LOVE to own this guy

This would really make me happy. My only complaint about BH is that there hasn't been more. I know some people bemoan unarticulated resin but I kind of cringe trying to imagine this sculpt with joints. I really think it's perfect as is. Between those two though, I'm sure it could be worked out to look just as good. I have spent many hours envisioning BH painted up in full detail by Joel and I'm fairly certain it would melt face.

I can't remember whether the one at the booth that year was for sale or not. If it was, I regret not picking it up!

I think four sold at the con and I got mine right after. I might be off by a piece or so though. There was a one off for one of the S7 show. If there were anymore I missed them.

Nice, I wondered what happened to this guy. The pics on the S7 site were kind of small so I'm glad to see some more detail.
