I'm kinda disappointed as they had so much potential for this toy. The Hockey Champ is probably the most memorable Donald Duck cartoon with his nephews, and they could have done something so much better. Start with a better pose, and maybe keep it the same era Donald stylistically as the cartoon. It disappoints more when I think of the medicom Runaway Brain Mickey, which has such a great look and pose to it (better than the other vinyl runaway brains IMO too). I'd love to see a toy made in Donald's pose from the title card of that short. When I got teh Undefeated email with teh collab last week it got me to thinking; here we have corporate bastard brand Disney licensing their characters to get a bit of street cred from "street-cool" brand Undefeated, and Undefeated get some "cool" and a marketing push by the fact that Disney was willing to work with 'em. That's it really. The toy is meh, and teh clothes have Donald and Goofy slapped on with an Undefeated logo - nothing new - nothing we havent seen a zillion times before. It's also so meh..... Compare it to something like Worthfield licensing producing "goth" Mickey, or Bounty Hunters classic punk Mickey in BxH Hoodie, with studded belt - a new take on an old character. But this collab brings nothing new or interesting to the table IMO... |

The Hundreds did a collaboration with Garfield at the same time with better results in my opinion.

Personally I don't see the difference between this and the SB x Hello Kitty business either. That hundreds garfield toy is terrible. |

That hundreds garfield toy is terrible. sb x hello kitty been ok to me. undftd x donald pretty boring indeed, james jarvis x hello kitty only slightly better. nbhd x kitty´s have been pretty cool collab imho. agree on garfield, though i might fall to popeye x supreme stuff...
