I'm sure by now a lot of you have already seen the sculpt, but I received news the proto landed safely in Japan, so I thought I'd get this thread going since I'll be offering a simple pre-order soon.

This little guy is 4" and will be articulated at the neck and arms. I'm really excited about this guy, I love the scale and proportions and textures in hand - he's just fun to handle.

Keeping the CK database here on the first page for easy access.

To all those Cadaver Kid lovers out there, here I bring you the most complete Cadaver Kid database that exist at this moment, after spending several hours working on this project I was able to put all this information together for you to enjoy and know more about this little guy that has become the favorite toy of many of us. Initially I wanted to create a new database thread but Joe asked me to keep everything in the Splurrt thread to keep all in the same conversation. Any new material will be added as soon as become available.
I hope you guys like it!

The design is a little more 'gross-out' than I collect, but I am super stoked to see you make the jump to vinyl!

That's what SHE said!

On another note, congrats on taking this to vinyl.
Definitely can't wait to see how it turns out.

I think the "gross-out" combined with cartoony elements are the main reasons I really like the sculpt. I think all of Joe's sculpts have that in common on some level. They all really remind me of madballs, my pet monster(Diggler specifically), boglins, and garbage pail kids. Basically a bunch of 80's gross toys targeted at my generation. Can't wait to see this in vinyl.

Congrats Joe! I really like the vintage look to it, the stitching on his body is so cool!

What's on the left of his chest?

Just a big bolt. he's also got a few little metal pegs poking out of his head to have his brain jumped. Stitched up and re-animated, brought back to life with an electrical charge, like Frankenstein's monster.

Exactly... there's clearly Madball influences, which are really well done. I'm just not a Madball collector ;) There's nothing wrong with doing a style outside of my wheelhouse really, really well.

Congrats Joe!
This madball-franken-potato definitely instills some 80's toy flashbacks while still remaining original.
Good work, sir!

Several features I really like, the pot belly, butt crack, deep set eyes, rotten teeth, autopsy stitching... just really cool figure all around.

...can't wait to see him in booger green vinyl or some other disgusting colors.

I've been really struggling with a name, I'm hoping inspiration strikes soon.

Seems like an opportune time for a naming contest...fun, fun, fun.

First Splurrt vinyl looks great! I'm hoping there's an eventual pink release so I can add some Splurrt to my collection.
