Post subject:  Savage Mondo Blitzers
I need some help identifying these toys from the 90's I used to have. I can't remember what they were called at all...

They were a bunch of wierdos and monsters on diecast platforms that had wheels. The characters were made of some sort of plastic and they were fuckin badass! They even had like a shooter thing that you could use to send them rolling at each other.

I dunno how popular they were but I had a bunch of them and I think they came in 2 or
3-packs maybe.. The only character I can seem to remember is this surfer dude who was surfing on a wave on the platform and he was missing an arm I think with a shark in the wave under him. There were soo many good ones though.

Can anybody help me out?

Not exactly sure, but maybe they were these, the wisely named "Savage Mondo Blitzers" (try and figure that one out)

I remember thinking as a kid that these were sort of cool (I was always trying to find one particular set as I recall) but they were relegated to the clearance bins soon enough. I don't think they had the 'mondo' appeal they were hoping for.

Big props to Weirdo Toys for already answering this question. I imagine if these are what you meant, then you can find them fairly easily based on the amounts that were left in stores back in the 90s.

I had a bunch as a kid, still have 1. They rule. I still have the muscle dude with a skull mask and baseball bat.

I used to love these as a kid... my favorite was Aping Wound. Wow, I don't know if these would have ever surfaced in my memory had you not brought them up EVOM. I remember buying these and Trash Bag Bunch toys right around the same time at KB.
