So to all in attendance what was the deal with the Pus show at SDCC?
Ive seen the pics from VP. What was the deal with the Rat FInks? All one offs? The unpainteds were nuts...
Also the Orange Cococroc? New run of unpainteds? The lighting made it hard to tell.

The top picture there was of items for display only. Not for sale at the public event. The Croc is red not orange and is not new.

The Finks and the rest of the items in the bottom picture were a small production run and were available at the event. Sold out now of course.

So I read elsewhere that the Fink Shit mold hasn't been used in 15 years? So this is a very historic event then too?

Did Kirkland come up with the colors for that one Fink?
I really like the Hawaii Fink - didn't realize it was a production run!

Very historic in the toy world scheme of things. The original production run from the late 1990's only had 3 colorways and in those days they weren't doing big runs. This figure was created for fun by Takeshi, Hirota, and Cosmo Liquid (sculpted the body). Which is why they never felt the need to churn out a multitude of colors to make maximum profit.

After so many years Takeshi finally agreed it would be fun to do a small run again (and this one is VERY small). He said this is the last time so enjoy it while you can.

No...Kirkland was just given one at that time to shoot photos of.

And whether you noticed or not....the gray one in Kirkland's photo is the same color as the gray Mecha Gorilla-Ju and the new Mecha Gorilla 2 (all painted by Hirota).

Ah. The colors are pretty much TBS colors, and with "Andy", "Henry", and "Lorne" versions of some figures I thought there might be a "Kirkland" Fink.

Was it just the yellow and gray Finks for sale or were the blanks also for sale ?

All the Finks were for sale at the event except for the Pus handpainted ones. And all of them were in small runs. No one-off unpainteds.

Was that the first one to sell out? I would assume so. All the versions were awesome.

Gray went first, then the blue.....clear green was last.

The painted one's are nice and all, but the copper lame unpainted Fink is immaculate.
To whomever purchased it: I hope you are good with a camera, and enjoy sharing your photos with the internet.
I would love a quality photo of that toy as a background, since it will not be living in my actual home

Clear green unpainted Fink also looks like he'd sit perfectly with the same color unpainted Gargamel fight figs... swoon.

There were more than one of all of them (not counting the Pus HP's).

Since I've seen those pics the marbled pink cap is seriously disturbing my dreams.
Congrats to the lucky dude who scored it.

...In this period of the year I always use to curse the fuckin' Atlantic Ocean...
