This is my first post here at skullbrain. However I've been a lurker for years. I thought I'd share my new run of Deadbeets planned to release at Designer Con booth #708. This batch is called "Melange" and is orange/translucent/glitter/GID. Yes, GID! (Thanks Ricky :D ) The edition size is 25 and will retail for $60. Thanks! More beets to come.

Other than the low post count toy pimping I can't find much to hate on . . . I'm going for a lie down!

Agent ravage - Plans are underway for a online painted release for next month.

kichigai - The GID was mixed in with the original pour. It was a happy accident actually. It's not a double pour.

coma21 - HI!

mutantshark - Thanks!

Scary Andy - It's all about the hustle, right?

There are more Beets in the works! I'll keep ya posted.

Scott Tolleson is a fairly established artist, just not in this community. Also, I hate beets and I wish they'd all die. Nice toy though.

^ kind of does, doesn't it?

This figure is really awesome! I love the vinyl colors and the sculpt and concept is fresh and nicely detailed. If I had $60, I would snatch this guy up in a heartbeat. But, now that I know this dude exists, I will scrimp and save up for the next one! :D

P.S. - do you have a glow shot?

I was actually trying to think of a clever way to reference you in that but gave up.

Looks awesome, the color is amazing...

Funny how when new people post on here the Sisters seem to come looking for new prey.

I gave up on skullbrain long ago so it doesn't really bother me when people simply use it to continually (or start) to pimp.
Anyone thinking the "community" here still exists is fooling themselves, or simply using it for hook ups.
Its all about the "game" now.

Please let me add that even though I've been a long time lurker here I've been collecting and supporting this scene for many years now. You have to start sometime, right?

its very possible that Scott applied for membership sometime last year and didn't get approved until this month =P

I like the sculpt but don't think it really fits on my shelves.

I can be super positive, I just don't waste it on here.
And I've heard of people who NEVER got their membership approved so I wouldn't be surprised if that were true. (And its a funny commentary on how this place has been since it went from being private...)

Nice job Scott. George did an excellent job on the sculpt as well. I love all the little details and texture. It's taken all my will power not to paint the blue one. This thing is first on my list of D-con buys!!!

"Sisters!!!" Hahahaha.
