I'd love to get one, but that's a steep price point for a blank.

They do look nice, but would prefer $100 or less for an unpainted one, even mixed. Good luck to those who take the dive!

that was my second thought when i saw these guys, with my first thought having been shock at the price on an unpainted bog. mixed parts or no, the combined price i paid for the two painted bogs i currently have equals the asking price for one of these!

anyway, i took a look at one of the bogs that i have here, and sure enough, the 'ears' are indeed separate parts:

yeah I don't think it's too crazy.. look at what other things are retailing for now... plus it goes directly to the artist .. I'm down with that.. if you don't like don't buy

As well I'm pretty sure Skinner isn't getting these for cost. If I remember correct its closer to retail. And Im also pretty sure he doesn't get many of these to sell per year.

I'm curious as to whether or not those who do buy end up wanting to trade parts to create a solid color like other mixed part releases... IMO I would believe this to be counter productive, but curious nonetheless

I really don't understand why people do that, like with the mixed parts mvh dx sludge people asked for mixed and then made solids...lame
