Reposted for appropriate thread: Nowhere near as good as Saint's(I personally am not feeling this photo myself), but he certainly was the inspiration for my attempt!

Thanks man. I appreciate it. Sometimes the background is hard to get right. Are you still over there? Keep looking for the right place. I just got lucky once or twice.

I hadn't posted this one anywhere yet. Inside one of Angkor Wat's wats.

Or this one...which was a lot of fun as I asked the street vendor if I could replace their Buddha with mine. They had such a good laugh they ran around to all the other vendors to make them come see.

I just ordered one :)
I had a little trouble with the paying process when checking out (it wouldn´t go to the final step to complete the order) i did get a PayPal receipt, so i hope my order got through.

Had the same issue (still stuck on the payment method page), but got the Storenvy and PayPal receipts, so looks like it went through okay.

The marbled is a beauty!

This is my first Alavaka. I'm a sucker for blind bags and happened to be online when it dropped. This was probably the fastest turnaround time I've ever seen. Saturday to Tuesday!!

I posted these on IG last night. The uncut vinyl is so awesome. I'm tempted to build him and let the new Bodhisattva head be stand alone (since it stands up well), but I don't think I can do it. Maybe just trim the flash so the Alavaka head stands better.

I think that was me, because the release was sold out when I first checked...
Really glad those popped up and was able to get in on the action. The uncut parts were a nice surprise and I'm absolutely crazy about this marbled one. Super happy with my pulls. Thanks T!

Every pull has been great from what I've seen so far! The new head sculpt is just excellent.

Damn! Those are some pretty pulls! You went all out on the vinyl choices T! I'm especially loving the marbled red/GID? that Smurph pulled. And that glitter purple?  So good!

I wish it weren't so damn cold out here in the Northeast- So I could get some time in at my spray booth... Hopefully I can add something to this thread before long.... :?: :?:

Thanks Phil, you and me both.
It's actually red & milky. Looks almost orange in my pics, but more of a neon reddish pink in hand.

Big GiD fan, but glad this one's not, as the milky vinyl exudes that beautiful "made of wax" look that works so nicely for this sculpt.
