Already mentioned this in the CAST thread. Cop a Squat Toys has a mini show at GH next wednesday, along with the Bakerz Dozen bearutrds show. Worth mentioning here as i know there are some skate nerds here, and some of the artists are also toy nerds. CAST will have a Gh exclusive, and some prints. And as for Bearturds n Bakerz Dozen how bout a FAQ! What is Bearturds? It's my tinier than tiny skateboard company. I take my love for old timey decks, and make them with new concave, and my own take on the old timey shapes. What is Bakerz Dozen? It's an art/skate show at Grass Hut, the first artist guest decks, and the premire of my new shape, The Little Ballbanger. Snub nose, diamond tail, steep concave, and short enough to travel/cruise with. Artist line up- bigfoot LA, brent wick PDX, Dave the chimp Berlin, cupco Aussie, ferris plock SF, manny aloha Hawaii, michiel walrave NZ, toshikazu nozaka Tokyo, scrappers PDX, Michael sieben LA, erik railton PDX, chris johanson PDX, and david wien PDX there is also a charitable element to this show- We will be raffling off a full set of decks, and some other awesome goodies from IRNFST, ACE trucks, and more to raise some funds for the powell st Skatepark here in portland. We will do the raffle in person, but offer up proxy tickets for the the biggie prize, all 13 decks, so you will be able to enter from anywhere. Will get that going on friday. |
