yes..it is very close to the 99 'dark' color. a darker greay body and brownish grey shoes and shorts. so its nice with the other 5yl ones.

That explains a lot! I guess they couldn't be 100% sure of (or just plain didn't want to try) hitting the same colours as the original 5YL's and went for an 'in between' version . . . they look SICK together! BTW I think the Labbit growth hormone is working . . . that fuckers as big as your plan chest!

Too much $$$ to spend on something potentially broken and or very fragile. Heard stories of them breaking during shipping. No thanks.

Were the 99 companions made in China too? JUst curious, as the legs keep snapping off. (I don't have this set). Back in the day, CHUM figs were readily available in all variety of colors and went for $50 or less. Stacked up high in toys shops. HK collector's focussed on the Michael Lau stuff at the time.
