If you are headed to SDCC 2007, give us here at Super7 a heads up as to who you are and what days you are going. Email (do not pm) your details to me at: brian@super7store.com

word up players.

For people who have been before...

I can go for Thursday only

Should I fly in around 10:30am and leave at 11:30pm (missing most of Nerdquake if I need to be at the airport early   )

or

Should I drive the 5 hours or so each way? (How nasty is parking, etc?)

Thanks!

You should drive in and not have to worry about making red-eye plane contacts. Parking is usually available with a few short blocks of SDCC -- see their website for parking suggestions. It will cost what it usually does in a midium to large urban West Coast area, between $10 to $40. You don't want to on a schedule that you cannot change if you are having fun.

Well, it looks like I will be able to make the convention on Sunday........ (I just need to see if the wife can get the time off..... ) If that does happen, I figured that since I have some extra miles and a little time to spare, I thought that the wife and I would take a little vacation. I will arrive on Saturday, hang out in the city (since Saturday at SDCC is sold out......) and then take in the convention on Sunday. I hope some of the board members will still be around so I can put some faces to names.

This trip to the convention should be really cool. It has been about 10 years since I have been to SDCC. I used to workas an artist for Chaos! Comics and I would have to do all the signings and crap that goes along with a being a pro at a comic book convention. This time it will be nice to go as a spectator and not have to deal with all of that stuff.

I hope to see everyone there,

Jack

its cutting kind of close and I'm starting to get nervous...
if there are any delays on my flights thursday morning I will force the pilot to personally stand in my spot in any future pushead lines.
