Just how many people go to comic con just to flip stuff,I think some people try and make a living at this kind of thing...Ebay is full of stuff from comic con..But I guess if I'm going to score a Bruised Chaos I'll have to go tha flipper route! One good thing I have noticed is that people aren't turning loose of their kaiju, this for sure means we have some dedicated collectors on here.. ![]() |

Seems to be a huge difference between kaiju @ Japanese festivals and SDCC...they can't get them on YJA fast enough after the Japan fests... |

no rules VS. rules If the auction is ended or interesting, I say post it, unless someone then is bidding on it and asks you to take it down, or unless it is your own listing. I am sure everyone has an opinion on this, and it has surfaced before. Why make people look for a listing that is mentioned in a thread, or does that mean no one should mention interesting things listed on YJA or Ebay? Oh, the debate, the misery of it. |

There will probably be many things from SDCC on the board in the next month to 6 weeks as people unload things they really don't love, or if they overspent. |

Maybe the full time flippers are not seeing the potential in the USA yet. The guys in Japan are the same guys I have been seeing for years so its well established. In the states it hasnt gotten to that point. I an not sure but did the western stuff end up on eBay right away, it probably took the people that wanted to only make money a little while to see it as a way to make some dough, they were not interested in it themselves until they started to see lines of people waiting to buy. Kaiju were only a small part last year at SDCC but of course it was a little more visible this time. You will see the full time flippers soon enough. Right now the people selling in the US are people that have some knowlegde about Japanese toys, in the future it will probably be mostly people just jumping on ship to make the buck that have no idea what these toys are and dont pretend to care. |

I am not trying to scare anyone. After 18 years of collecting I have seen this happen numerous times and I still get bummed everytime. |

It will happen, especially when the flippers continue to see the stupid money peeps will throw at new just released figures. The "collectors" and their lack of patience and gimme, gimme attitude create the "flippers" market. |

I couldn't believe the bids for some toys that only came out a day or 2 ago. |
