I was wondering why the big differences in prices related to the two hsp pirates that sold recently on ebay? One for $2025 and the other for $360. Maybe people that wanted one were on vacation because of the holiday but I'm thinking it's because the two or three folks that were bidding big found pirates somewhere else. Anyhow, just wondering if anyone had any thoughts.

I think it may have been some confusion between the HSPs and the HPs

I'm think it was because of:
1) this
2) it being the first on eBay
3) the buyer has a huge collection and is rich as hell

His collection is insane and I do beleive he is rich as hell.

Do a search for topics started by "pukingaso" on KR in the show off (or whatever it's called) forum.

Often auctions have a few bidders who place a similar value on an object and who are all pretty close in bidding. Sometimes an auction gets two individuals (and it does take two) who bid it up from there-as in the case of the $2K HSP. That's why I consider the third highest bid, or the price where the bulk of bidders are, to be the truest value of an item in most cases. Most items will sell for about that amount eventually.

So in this case, $900 is a more reasonable price?

I'm going to spill this one:

There is a member of this board(not saying who) that I know contacted me following comic-con with the following offer for my HP:

1 rusty
2 pink
3 copper
4 HSP

those 4 for my 1 HP. I thought about it for a sec. and said no. after some pm discussions with other members with HPs. I found he offered them them same deal.

I immediatly felt like one of the kids in willy wonka. As if pushead has a secret agent trying to get to us sell our HPs as a test. when in fact hes going to take us on a magic tour of his house. He'll take us on a boat made of skulls.. on a blood river.. while singing septic death..
ok ill stop now

he lingered around me in line at comic con and begged me to buy him a pushead handpaint there. He offered me $700 to buy it (on top of the cost of the toy i believe) I told him to buzz off and get in line behind the people who had been waiting patiently.

RFSO or die.

Was lgcolddrink talking about "pukingaso"? If so....I don't believe he was at SDCC.
