That people on this board don't hold against me the inflamed comments of a few people who happen to be pissed off that I don't appreciate Frank Kozik's vinyl works. I am a dedicated collector. Yes. I am selling off most of my "urban vinyl" collection, but much of that is being replaced by quality kaiju. Let's try to keep things in perspective. Nobody, or no one perspective, owns this board, I hope.

No one should be, I hope you keep finding toys that keep you interested.

well, if you're gonna sell off your urban vinyl and replace it with quality Kaiju, i guess you're an alright guy...

oh wait, buying the hip and cool thing doesn't buy you credibility, getting things you genuinely like and sticking by them does; at least in my eyes.

You know what? No one's opinions on this board count for much in the real world. Enjoy what you want to enjoy and don't think that you're good or bad for what people here think. If your self-worth is based on what Parka or Johnny Hotrod think, then you're in trouble.

Collect what you like: just be cool and open-minded.

As well as Takara, SB, Gargamel, RxH and Blobpus, I love Amos, Medicom, Jled, Touma and Biskup to name but a few.

Geo, can't believe you would sell that Jled canvas tho - I emailed you an offer when u had it up for grabs, but didn't hear anything - so what did it go for in the end?

I really loved that painting, but my wife did not. We make decisions together and respect each other's opinions even if we don't agree with them. That approach of compromise has served us well for our many years together. She preferred that I not hang the painting and so I didn't. It did not make sense to just keep it hidden away, so I sold it. It is now hanging in someone else's house where it can be viewed and enjoyed. I think that is a happy ending.

I really like the kaiju pieces I have been getting, not only because of the quality in design and construction, but I guess even more just because they seem "fun" - I enjoy "playing" with them in a way that I didn't with a lot of the urban vinyl that I have acquired. The kaiju seem to have a different "spirit" to them that I find attractive. To each their own.

i hold nothing personal against you g-man and it's rad that you are still into the toy thing in some way. just be mindful that a lot people know that you and frank have had words in the past and posting in or about his threads can come off as taunting at times. diversity made this world spin and you do have the right to like what you like. it's all in the way you express you're feelings. ba-BOOM!

I just want to go on record: Geo is one of the best collectors around, he has a very good eye and is not swayed by hype. You may not like him but we are very lucky to have him here on Skullbrain. Please show him some respect, at least until he has to much grappa and starts talking shit about the IKA GILAS.

Yeah... it is a "sweetened" mechgodzilla 50% Super7 style.

Only really know Geo from odd posts on Rotofugi, but I know he has some very different pieces in his collection from some of his pics posted here and there. Not the normal pieces for sure.
From some of the pics I have seen Geo, I'm actually surprised you didn't have a few Japanese pieces before now. Kaiju pieces that is.
