The forums are not still showing up as unread even after I read them. I deleted my cookies but no luck (and some wasted milk).

This is a serious problem for me because I am kind of slow and I will keep reading the same thread over an over as long as it says unread. i must have read the "Obake Dog..." thread at least 50 times already.

Happens to me quite often while using Firefox and having too many things open simultaneously. Then sometimes it derails like you describe.

Try closing out your browser and relaunching. That should solve it, and if not you may need to restart your computer to rectify it.

Knewnan, the exact opposite happens to me:

I log out but then I still see myself logged in, so when I come back, I've been logged in a long time, and all the threads I haven't read are marked read...!

a reboot did the trick. How strange that it would only happen to this board.

It was Firefox that was causing the problems.

umm well i ranked on you the other day and apologized, does that not count?

and the "your PC sucks
thing" has been done over about a zillion times.

i'm not sure why your feelings are so hurt over this. you told me it was a joke, i said it wasn't funny. sue me.

i think its time to move on, eh?

are u my favorite person? no. do i go out of my way to give you a hard time? i really don't think so. normally i go out of my way to not address you at all.

i'm done with this thread, are u?

"Macs are better for graphics" is what U say to a Mactard to get them to shut up.
It's not true though but it seems to work
