so missy and I live in a high rise building where there is a concierge at the front desk 24 hours a day. the guy who is there from 3-11, Christian, happens to be someone who is somewhat versed in Japanese characters due to the fact that he was born in Italy and grew up watching the many Japanese animated and live-action shows that were popular there. he's also always razzing me about the amount of packages I get that I have to sign for. just out of curiousity he's asked me what they are and so he knows I collect toys of Japanese characters. well tonight a fuse was blown in our bedroom so he had to go down the hall and fix it. then he stopped by to make sure it was working and saw into my apartment for the first time. so we asked him to come in for a minute and he saw my toys for the first time. he picked out the Secret Base guys in particular and was like "damn!" I impressed my dorky doorman with my collection of Japanese vinyl |

Nice...I think my doormen probably have some interesting perceptions about me due to the fact I keep rolling a luggage cart by them with a stack of packages from Japan... |

that's awesome, skylar... My mailman finally broke down and asked me what kind of toys he was delivering me a few times a week. I showed him my office and he flipped. |

hahaha he was like "you guys are pretty die hard collectors" and I said "yeah I guess, it's something to do" and he said "everyone has a passion...I collect guns" and missy and I were like "really?!!" and he said "yeah, I have 9. if I get one more I need an armory license." |

haha skylar i can't believe you called him a concierge! hah he is a doorman with a laptop...although he will call you a cab. |
