to make a long story short...
i've been working for the same guy for almost 6 years at two different companies. his people/mgt skills arent the greatest and the way he has been treating me and others lately has gotten me to the point where i wanted to see if there was anything else out there. so i emailed a woman who works at my company (the company is small, 9 people) and asked her if she knew of anywhere or anyone that might be hiring art directors/designers cause i thought i needed a change. her boss has been monitoring her emails apparently cause he is some weird control freak, and gave the email to my boss who took it as me stabbing him in the back. so i showed up to work this morning to find all of my design boooks, personal belongings, hard drives, everything piled up by the front door and i was told i could go home.

Sorry, not at the moment, but, as an employer, I can say that you are indeed headed to the land of paid unemployment. I just hope you were paying in along the way! -besides, getting a new job sounds like an upgrade. Go for it!
