I just got an email notification that someone PMed me, and then I checked here and realized that my inbox was full 100% and I have no new messages. Does that mean someone tried to PM me but didnt go through? Does the sender get a unsent mail? |

My box has been 100% and I still receive pm's. I think it just deletes the oldest pm's you had. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. |

I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. this is true,,,it just keeps deleting what is oldest in the inbox as new ones arrive... although,,,that being said,,i did notice in the past 24hrs that i was getting email notifications of private messages hours after they actually arrived.... so clam,,you probably got email notifications of pm's that you already read... |

Another possibility is that someone could have sent you a PM and then deleted it before you got a chance to read it. |

One question I have is that the SnetBox has way mopre space than the Inbox - I have pages of sent stuff, but half as much new stuff. Having more room for inbox stuff would be of more use. I'm always losing numbers and paypal addreses as the inbox fills up so quickly. |

how important can this stuff be up here to save every message? I think it is good that delete stuff automatically. Have you tried using the save box for important messages? Getting the emails is just because of my slow email server, it is sending out so many "you got a private message" emails that it probably has to queue them. the huge sent box has not made sense to me, the phpbb program doesn't have set of preferences to change the size. |

I agree that we just need to save the important messages into the SaveBox and Sent folder is great to keep track of past mail data to the recipient. It's interesting to find out though that it deletes the inbox messages if new ones come in when it reaches 100%. |
