^^^ That actually looks really good? Was it one of the newer sets? Cause yeah allot of the past few years stuff was kinda "meh" at best.
Yep, from last year (but still available). It's crazily detailed, there's tons of hidden details and a gazillion minifigs. Can't seem to copy a link of this picture of the shadow theater I took, but here's a link: https://www.instagram.com/p/BAVopSfvT7t ... HyRERxuI0/
And on the simpler side: Not sure if I'd have IDed this simple flat as Booska on first glance... View this post on Instagram But I'm happy to take @hishochi's word for it.
So i found some new Star Wars Lego sets and three really caught my eye in the store. The first one is Rex's AT TE. The second one is a Clone Turbo tank with one of those walkers. Than the third one is from the Star Wars Freemakers series coming soon. I don't have any of these ones yet but there really cool to see in person thats for sure. The Star Wars sets continue to be pretty solid for the most part.
You know i wont be surprised at all if they do a few more waves of the Lego Disney Characters blind bags. They sold out super fast in allot of stores here where i am at. I only picked up 2. Not a HUGE Disney fan by any means but I actually got 2 pretty well known characters from the bags. Managed to find some of the newer mini blind bag sets though that are not Disney related. Ill do some update pictures latter.
Anybody here play with these things? http://www.laq.co.jp/product/ My Ultra fixation led me to them: Spoiler LaQ
Yeah, I dunno. I have sure seen a great number of building/construction sets through the years, some better than others, but the design of those seems pretty unpractical. And yeah, as fan of Ultraman, I can just barely 'see' the characters being portrayed, it is a stretch, and not very fun looking for play at that either. Compared with, say, this Heck, even these guys seem pretty cool to me, Or, if you prefer getting all professional-like
I see so this brand is called "Innovative and Creative". Interesting stuff but google cant translate allot of the stuff on this page unfortunately.
Sigh... Upper right corner of the page.^ Or... http://www.laq.co.jp/en/ Moving along... I don't know, Steve - I like the suggestive simplicity of the LaQ dioramas very much. I would never knock those more elaborate Tsuburaian renditions, but they look way more 6" Bandai or X-Plus to me.
Lol sorry about that. Not used to having an instant english translation part on most of these Japanese sites.
This is pretty exciting: (...and Ghostbusters and Mission Impossible and Sonic the Hedgehog and E.T. and Gremlins and Harry Potter and A-Team packs, if those are your thing.)
^^^ Some of those do look pretty neat but id be better invested in them if they were actual whole themed Lego sets of Adventure Time and the others you mentioned.
We know there's at least one full Adventure Time set coming... And knowing Lego, if they've licensed an IP, they will release a few more sets for sure.
Im still REALLY upset they did not do more Lord Of The Rings Themed Lego sets. Between those and the Hobbit they just sprinkled playset's here and there. Not enough of the big castles and what not if you know what i mean man. A wonderful license almost WASTED!
Very excited for the upcoming Lego Ideas Yellow Submarine. Very cool to be getting the Fab 4 in official Lego form soon.
They should do whole Lego sets based off of that Cartoon. I mean seriously there are so many awesome playset ideas they could do for that. Not just the submarine itself.
Hi. This probably isn't kosher, but I have about 50 boxes of Legos I'm gonna put on EBay soon. They are unopened and rare. I am not looking to make profit off of them. PM me if anybody is interested.
@patrickvaz Why are you stockpiling Lego sets? Also, why are you stockpiling Lego sets if not to make a profit off them? Also, are you aware of BrickLink? I have no experience selling Lego online but it's possible you might have more luck there. Don't hold me to that, though.
I really wanted to get the Classic Knights they were giving away last month At least I found it on ebay at a decent price. Now if only Lego would make a similar set but with the Space theme, that would be a great companion to this.
I'm almost certain (but only almost) that I've posted this here before, but I was a Lego starfighter builder for a few years a couple of years back. I think a built around 300 or so ships, most of them nothing particularly spectacular. But, if you want to check them out; https://www.flickr.com/photos/36405178@N07 There's a couple paintings on the first page, but everything else is a starfighter.
Dude if they are rare old Lego sets that are in mint box and your not looking to make profit than just give them away for free? Lol but seriously don't undercut yourself on rarer toys when selling especially if they are more sought after desired sets.
Legos are my happy place when I have a really bad day at work hah, but we don't construct anything that isn't out of the box, we just buy the sets. I can come home and kind of zone out hah @patrickvaz if you have the Monster Fighters house I am 100% interested, I am feeling some serious withdrawal since I finished all the Simpsons sets and Ghostbuster building, and am waiting on pins and needles for the Cinderella castle to come out!
