I'll indulge, never really do the selfie thing but iMacs can apparently so (although I look like I'm being blasted with infra red laser!)... I have the one week stubble thing going but no beard action (breaking ranks oh no!):
^^ I never do the selfie thing either, but I like the idea of humanising SB a bit (thanks @missy). I dont see photos of myself often . . . i can't believe the bags under my eyes! Bleedin' insomnia . . .
I suffer from that from time to time. Usually when I'm overstressed thinking about shit or when I slam 2 cups of Deathwish Coffee (650 mg of caffeine per cup-and I do large cups so it's probably more!) in the morning and wonder why I'm up at 2 am? That's like 10 espresso shots!
Here I am on my annual "its too cold for ice cream" Mister Softee run with 2 other SB old timers you might recognize haha:
^^^ It's never too cold for ice cream! In fact I tend to crave it more dead of winter. I downed a entire Ben & Jerrys pint last night- because well portion control on a pint?! What's that?! I've seen those faces before here but my old memory is failing me.
Skylar (my partner in crime-and collecting) and Mark Helm - livingdead here. We have all been here for over a decade. HA.
Ahh ok I figured one of the guys might be Skylar but did not recognize him. It's important to have a partner in crime that gets your collecting madness (and added bonus- collects themselves!) Remember that kids- otherwise you get someone bitching at you 24-7 like I did for 10 years!
Here i am at the Gwar-B-Q a couple summers ago. Jesus, was it hot. I'm the one on the far left in the black and green armor. So worth it though. I need to go back to Virginia soon. And here's a closer up of what I was wearing. What these photos don't really show is that I also had a massive hook hand as well.
Its a hoax! I look like a grizzled old Jedi living in seclusion? i will take that as a compliment! Did you hear Hamill's impression of Harrison Ford on the recent Nerdist Podcast? It is awesome & hilarious!
Thanks, Doug! Your cat Lulu is awesome! Totally looks like my lady's cat Patches that's no longer with us( ). It's always fun seein' people with photogenic pets!
My cat and I a couple of years ago (before jumping on the smart phone train). Probably closest to the longest my face hairs have ever been.
@boon velvet I do not know what impresses me more the parrot or the phone, because in these times any of the two could be considered as a rarity.
Trust me, there's nothing impressive about that phone. Proud member of the smartphone community since 2014. Can't recall why I was so unwilling to switch over before that, but it was the ease of a better quality of camera use that convinced me.
Boon I can concur with you on the whole smartphone thing. I had a crappy flip top phone forever- till probably 2010 then it broke on a trip and I had to convert to a smartphone because they no longer made them lol. For some reason (probably because I hate being on the phone and still think of the phone as a phone) I've never been keen on the latest and greatest mobile devices. I love technology but phones not so much. I only recently traded that crap first android smartphone I got in 2010 for a iphone 4 (because it was given to me) but now I find myself sort of in forced upgrade mode because I cannot get any app beyond something made for iOS 7. How on earth am I going to beta test hater dater (iOS 9 required) lol?
