Wow.. What a great night! Thanks to @aarnfnchr, the ladies of Lowbrow and everyone else that helped make last night so much fun! For those who don't know, I host a toy collecting party here in Denver, once every season. Last night was our spring meetup and it was focused on Sofubi. A few local collectors brought some of their Japanese vinyl collections to show off to the rest of the group and it went extremely well! Minds were definitely expanded last night... I'm actually taking a small hiatus and there will not be an event this upcoming summer, see you all in the fall! Also, if any of you may be traveling to the Denver metro area in the near future and would like more information on the Denver Art Toy Meetup, please shoot me a PM..
Really cool to see all these different pieces in size-relation to each other. It's really hard to get a sense of size when things are displayed on their own. On that note... CESTODA IS HUUUUUUGE!
Yup. Cestoda is a beast. (No pun intended.) Off the top of my head, I think it's 13 parts. (head, 2 body, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 feet, 2 claws, tail, tip) The current pre-order is worth it. Tons of play-ability. (Even if it's unpainted.)
