I’m happy I’ve been hooked on battlefield 4 for the PS4 again. I haven’t played it since 2016 and got rid of it somehow? But got it for 5 on sale and I’m hooked!! So happy just wish I could find a squad
http://www.nintendolife.com/news/20...at_battle_series_gets_translated_into_english Cool article on some old school translated games. The games are based on the super deformed versions of Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Gundam characters. Cool videos showing some stages of each game.
Anyone else playing Monster Hunter World? I've logged about 90 hours PSN: Senior_Dracu1a Also, @Headhunter - The Dark Souls remaster is coming to Switch! May 25th
I need to get more into MHW actually! I am only about 3 hours in. It's just so hard to get the time to sit down, relax, and play now a days, and MHW seems like the perfect example of a game that requires a significant time commitment. I'm close to the end of Persona 5 and FF15 (P5 was much better and I intend to finish it). Multiplayer I play Rocket League for pick up and play and Realm of the Mad God for a cheesy "free" MMO. I also have been playing the SoulsBorne games over again. I am disappointed I have lost my Dark souls 2 save for the second time and I lost my Dark souls 3 save when I was up to the final boss! (New PC and forgot to transfer save, oof!) I did take the time to beat the game the first time in Super Mario Odyssey though, and that game was fantastic. I want to get to 500 moons eventually.
The only game I play is Rocket League. I play way too much, matches being 5 minutes make it so easy to jump on and just play a game in between whatever I have going on. I don't pretend to be good at all, my hours played vs. rank achieved is laughably bad.
Yep, Steam here. I'm a tad over 1000 hours right now haha (I'm so ashamed by that stupid number lol). A lot of that is afk time where I just left the game on, but I'm guessing it's only 100-150 hours at most. Currently floating around plat 2 in ranked doubles/standard. I love to play non-ranked (or rumble/hockey etc.) though, so if you're on steam we should definitely get some games in together some time! Username is b33nine.
Finally got Bayonetta now that they've released it on the Switch. My favourite time-waster in a long time
I'm also excited Undertail is popping up for the Switch as Well! The more Indie game love the better.
I got my son a second hand Wii U not long ago and the whole Zelda package for it. Played a bit of Breath of the wild on it and it’s truly fantastic. Right now though I’m getting through Twilight Princess again (haven’t played it since the release on Wii), so that we can gain the maximum amount of hearts for our Wolf Link Amiibo to use in BOTW. Just love having Wolf link running around with me when I explore the vastness of Hyrule. If you have BOTW and haven’t bought the Wolf Link Amiibo, do it now! Well worth it.
Steredenn: Binary Stars for Switch. A roguelike shoot em up. Cannot say much about balancing and such, but the overall presentation is great, there are some cool mechanics and has this nice 'one more time' thing going on.
I played it for 5 hours straight when I first downloaded it. Definitely worth every cent but man does it ramp up in difficulty near the end. Haven’t been able to unlock the last 2 ships.
Same here. Still hoping for that one weapon/upgrade combo that will make it possible. I also have no clue yet on how to trigger the extra bosses. Occasionally one will pop up.
The only game I play right now is puzzle fighter. They managed to take the awesome original arcade version & shoehorn in lootcrates, life bars, and team bonuses for iOS/Android. Game play is mostly like the original but instead of just breaking gems to drop on your opponent, you now deal damage based on the shape of the gem with bonuses from your team mates. Yes, there is a pay2win contingent like any other mobile game with micro transactions but if you loved the original, which I did, it's definitely worth the download.
Fortnite PS4 I’m waiting for god of war and considering getting burnout paradise remastered, I used to love it on PS3.
I've been really enjoying MHW. Close to 200 hours. Capcom is doing a good job with this game and making sure people are enjoying it. The new patch came out on the 22nd which added Deviljho from the other games in the series.
This is good to know. I wish Nintendo did a better job of curating their downloadable games. Some look like they might be good but I have no idea.
I use Nintendolife and Destrutoid for reviews. They have similar tastes to mine so I never feel like I’m wasting money. But both of them really boned me on the new Kirby game. Man that shit is boring.
It’s not bad, but if your used to playing anything harder than a Mario game, it’s way too easy an short. We only got it because my lady loves Kirby and we can play together. But I kept falling asleep, glad we beat it already.
