Had seen no discussions here on this company so figured I would drop some information.

I believe they are made in Japan, but if from elsewhere, mods please pop this thread in the appropriate drawer.

They just made a set of Iron King soft vinyl mini dolls that look vintage as can be:

[IMG]Iron King Blue by b-eaK, on Flickr[IMG]Iron King red by b-eaK, on Flickr[IMG]Iron King grey by b-eaK, on Flickr

I thought this company made a few previous dolls but can not seem to dig up any information.

    Anyone else have more details?

I love Iron King and find it odd that so few vintage items exist compared to other Tokusatsu properties.

Seriously hoping they produce a nice set of villians and monsters from the show in this same size.

Big One Craft was started 2016 by Tooru Abe of Kaiju Ken. They are made in Japan. They have done various characters for Medicom and shows. Here are some more of Big One Craft works. Tooru Abe sculpted most if not all of these.

Probably the least popular of BOCs releases (but still relevant), over the Summer, Prekettsu CyberNewNew figures were released through a partnership with Medicom for 800yen ea. in either grey, pink, or yeller.

Wow thanks guys I did not realize they had made these others.

    Mecha Elvis FTW!

I love the Semi Metal A Taro, looks similar to Robotman or Biotron as I knew him this side of the pond.

    Very cool indeed

@kichigai, I really enjoy the Mecha Elvis too. I think you and I may be alone there tho. Where's @toothaction to lecture us?

A couple of new series were just announced:

Got these in hand and floored by them.

No bells and whistles, no hype, nor bullshit, hard as nails and faithful to Japanese Tokusatsu heritage.

    In other words... Real

Those are cool John. I don't know if you are aware, but Abe-san made a little base. The base is for any characters in this line.

Anthony yes I did and wish not only had I gone for that but the standard sized Mammoth Kong which sorta is a mid size if we consider it's height to Gekko Kamen.

There was also a much more detailed Gekko Kamen in scale with large Mammoth Kong.

I think there is another series with a totally different beast also called Mammoth Kong, weird Elephant headed kaiju?

Wish I could have got the Iron King set as well. There are a few floating around tho so might be able to land them eventually.

Mr. Abe really does a great job in subtle yet effective detail and his take on these characters is spot on. Very inspiring!

@boon velvet - Sorry JP, I'm not at SF (wish I was). The photos were taken and belong to Abe-san owner of Big One Craft and were posted on his Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Abe-san's table is a glorious delight. I envy any of those able to attend the SF. Unfortunately not too many SBers seem to be in attendance at these events that much any more (or it is just quieter). Those photos make me just want to plop myself down on a carpet in front of those toys and start playing. :)

That table is filled with eye candy at great prices for certain. That mid sized Gekko Kamen is lurking in far right photo 2 just behind the copper toned Ultra 7 doll.

Gigantor appears to be coming up next!

@chimply.kaiju Ya know, he really does vintage style in similar vein to Sato-san.

Do you have a personal favorite doll from this company at the hand of Abe-san?

Mine for certain are the Gekko Kamen.

Kaiju Ken Booska is one of my favorites in hand. Especially the Hashimoto lemon color exclusive.

The Big One Craft Purikettsu line is a line I want to dive in to but haven't yet. Waiting for painted versions of pretty much most of them like the Gekko Kamen set, Kure Kure Takora set, Ushi waka Kotarō Ninja set, and Ultraman sets.

Oh, wow, and I reading this right that he sculpted the best modern Booska, too???
I'm big on the mini that most often rode with papa, too.

Makes me wonder if this gloriously decrepit
    [IMG]
little Chamegon is from his hand, too.

I think Abe-san did the Booska? I could be wrong.
***Update. I asked Abe-san about the Booska. He said he is not the sculptor for it.

But the prototype sculpt of that mini Chamegon was definitely done by Doki Satoru-san of Yamomark for Booska set released through Tsuburaya online shop. This was the set it was release for limited to only 50. The picture you posted of the Chamegon is from Yamomark blog dated Dec 2008.
