getting a vip pass this time around just to get a ggml piece last year they sold out about 2-3 people in front of me and it sucked
Love Gargamel but I miss the days they had standards for sale. Not just all customs. I am also anticipating their pics but they are cutting it close. Normally we see stuff the week before.
Do vendors list their prices and what their bringing any where or do you have to wait until you get to the booth?
Iv been seeing some prices from certain large vendors pop up for things but other stuff not so much. Just gotta go through Instagram to find out or Dm one of them and hopefully get a reply.
It's mostly on social media platforms, IG and FB. Vinyl Pulse also posts a lot of stuff leading up to the Con.
Only a few vendors post prices on Social media, most of them don't, so you will have to wait until the day of the event.
so many good toy makers attending and im really glad that more and more makers from japan come over the years
I just can't wait to see everyone. I have a love/hate relationship with DCon only being two days because, while it's nice to have a short and super sweet convention, it's a bummer that it ends so abruptly and everyone goes back home for a year. Best Con for the community, hands down.
Have fun, everyone!! Please take tons of pics too. I want to live vicariously through you and secretly hate you! And if no one is feeling their Pushead purchases after, please let me know!! *wink, wink*
Hope to make it to Dcon someday ... but looking forward to pictures ( thanks ! ) & good luck to all who can attend .. may your toy lottery dreams come true
I’ll obviously be getting photos of the Lulu booth and PK’s, as well, but if there’s anything anyone wants to see details of feel free to shout it out and I’ll do my best to make treks!
I’ll take photos of Max Toy’s Sofubi Man test pull and upload them as soon as I can. It’s one I’m really looking forward to
So, I bought tickets 3 months ago, but I didn’t receive a notice or anything in the mail. I’m flying out tomorrow and no one has responded to my email. Do I just pick the passes up there?
You should have received an email with a PDF of your tickets to print out. Not sure they'll be able to look you up by name. They gave me the wrong kind of passes last year and when we went back to fix it they couldn't find me in their system, and of course they had already taken my tickets. They gave us the right passes, but it left me thinking it's not the best system.
They just sent me tickets. We do a comicon here in Denver called dink. It seems like it’s a task, throwing a con. See y’all there.
Regarding The Sour Lemon booth, Itokin Park will be first up, first thing in the morning on Saturday. Along with Amanda Visell and Michelle Valigura.
