Bakobas were part of the 2006 lucky bags I think. Unpainted orange, and a painted orange. Both great. Totally underrated figure IMHO.

I've always loved that mum & baby set, you know, the basic baby blue version with dark blue accents that came as a two-pack? Bakobas is a great figure and I think it really shows off the adaptability of the Zag body. With just a different head sculpt, you get a totally different best. Very cool.

While it is AWESOME that Carl got a Miborah!!! Congratulations!
It is also true that angelabby opens bags and makes behind the scenes offers for Miborahs and other LB figures. If you don't have the item they want in trade you are shit out of luck. I was upset I couldn't obtain the Miborah she offered me, but was going to let it go until I keep hearing stories about her making other offers on the Mecha Zag and such, but she is NOT a flipper. She told me so herself :?

An individual doing this shit is bad enough, but a retailer is beyond.....

Maybe I'm just still upset and its all legit.....

Urggh - sorry to hear this :(. I just relate my own experience Mark. I was lucky for once after many years of buying bags and was stoked on that. Probably should have kept my mouth shut as I usually do - but felt it was worth communicating a good experience for folk who were worried.

I don't collect, but does Gargamel know this is happening? talk about taking the fun, luck, magic, etc...out of the lucky bag experience.

sure, Angel isnt a flipper. more like a lucky bag destroyer.

Carl's bag. Lucky indeed! The paint job on that Conifas looks pretty amazing in photos. This one could bring me around to the sculpt. Also, all the Miborah's we've seen on here (about 4) have a different colour torso. that's pretty cool.

Looks like I'll be getting my bag from Super7 tomorrow. I'm not a fan of the Confias whatsoever, but I definitely would love to get a Miborah, so I'm hoping for a Conifas bag.

Pretty much identical to Carl's bag (different mix on Miborah & I swapped my micros with Derphead). Super happy to get my first Miborah :) almost have one of every Gargamel standard size figure now!

We finally get the Zazahn homage that this figure deserves. Ok, so it's the second Zazahn homage.

^My thoughts exactly. Seeing as the sculpt was probably Zazahn inspired. My favorite conifas paint job yet aside from some of the crazy one-offs.

I really like the paint apps on that Conifas. I'm hoping for a Garudan bag, but that Conifas + Miborah makes me almost want that bag, almost.

I'm kind of digging the Deathra, and of course the Conifas. I think my favorite Garudan releases have been the ones with the inner guts with firey headwork. I like the solid vinyl coming through on this bag. sometimes it's great when things are simple.

Only took a pic of the zag to show the mixed parts, but I also got in my bag:

    Garudan
    green Walking Killer
    Helper
    Globby
Oozebat and Tetran micros, both navy

Great bags this year. It's nice to see a move back to the solid standards this go around. I'm always a sucker for a solid, painted Deathra!

This homage is much better/closer than the original Conifas Zazahn tribute. Looks great ! Love everyone's scores....keep 'em comin !

^ i've seen a slightly different paint application to that one (blue face instead of green). Are they different Bullmark releases, or is it just how they handpainted them?

The blue vinyl is vintage (early '70s). The green vinyl is a B-Club Reissue (late '90s).

I'm baffled by the lack of apparent hps, which is what actually made the bags "lucky" or not imho considering what hps cost if you buy them at a show. The Mibo and Mecha Zag head seem to be the biggest scores this year, but they really aren't any more special than a regular Zag head (or Bako for that matter) as far as labor or whatever, they are just kept to limited release and new respectively. The painted standard size figures all seem to be very solid releases don't get me wrong, but it would have been cool to maybe see some hps on "unmixed" color bases from the mixed release or something. Also if it wasn't for the inclusion of the one blue part, it might as well be mixed parts shades of shit as far as I'm concerned, though I'm glad lots of people seem to be digging them. I'd consider Gargamel to be the LAST company that needed to get on the mixed part train, though I will admit it suits the simplicity and overall texture of the Zag body.
