I really like the new green and red inserts because they remind me of the green and red chrome Gacha-dokuros from way back when.

 

Are they a nod to the Micronauts Microman colors?

Probably more of a reference to the colors of the original Dokuroman toys. But Dokuroman was itself sort of a knock-off of Microman.

Wow, that's crazy. It came in two parts like in the picture?

 

I'm sure he just took the head off. That's how they are manufactured, and why the colored portion seems to float in the middle for the clear chase versions.

 

Clever design.

 

The image is mine, just took it yesterday. Yeah, I was pretty surprised when I pulled the head off and the guts came along with it. Like analog101 said, just how they're manufactured.

 

COOL! I never knew that. Gotta go pull some heads off and do some switchin' around for shits and giggles..

 

I had forgoten the insert was attached to the head - such a great design!

 

Fellow Micro collectors I have a question. The Silver Thrashman on the list at page 1 is referring to a silver sparkly one? Like this Hujili?


Not the regular grey one pictured below. So there is a sparkly silver lame version?

 

The grey has a micro sparkle. Hard to tell in pics.
Ive never seen a clear sparkle like some of the other micros have been done in.
I dont think there is one.

and james, the latest dark blue zag definitely has no sparkle.
