Killer Bs: give it up for Bandai, B-Club, and (neo) Bullmark

This is a new sculpt by Bullmark, 15 cm. Marusan also recently announced mid-size figures.

I guess this is where some makers are headed due to the recession.

 

I couldn't get the yellow, but picked up the clear in hopes of trading. Who knows, maybe when I get it I'll love it.

 

perhaps this will be the hill I die on here, and these have probably been discussed here at some point... but I finally pulled the trigger and picked up the Mothra and Goji. Stock was a dwindling and at 10 bucks a pop it’s not a tough call. But honestly I wasn’t sure how I felt about the Goji. Or the Mothra. But having held them in my grubby paws I can honestly say I fully am drinking the kool-aid. Love them. Bigger than I expected. My feelings are if these were small run people would be knifing eachother for them. Perhaps I have quarantine brain. What say you all?

 

I can get behind Mothra and Ghidorah but I don't understand why Godzilla doesn't look like Godzilla.

 

I always felt the same way about those. They’re still all super cute but I think if they added fangs and had less bubbly ears I’d be down with Godzilla. My friend/roommate has them and regardless, they look good amongst our more toony sculpts.

EDIT: Just a thought. Godzilla looks like an Animal Crossing villager.

 

I felt the same until I held it in my hand and squished him. Then it was love. I fully support the look now. Maybe because it’s just a cute toy in my head and kinda loosely associated at best. The last chibli (?) they did looked more “ monster” and maybe that’s why it did nothing for me. These are 100% cute toys that just happen to be monster-y. At least that’s what I’m telling myself!
I’ve got plenty of Godzilla toys that look like Godzilla for that fix.

 

Yeah I’m kinda working on a cute shelf and I think these are gonna be great amongst the other pieces.

Am I the only one that is really impressed with some of the new bullmark stuff? They’ve really been doing some killer colorways and the clear tinsel Hedorahs are something that would usually be a lottery only item they are so great!! Bullmark is killing it lately in my opinion!

 

Agreed. The new Little Bullmark line is one of my favorite things!

I agree. When I first saw these, I thought that this was some sort of character that came from Booska's world, and I sure as heck would have not guessed that this was Godzilla.
That being said, they are all pretty cute. And I can get behind the Goji as long as I don't think of him as Goji (if that makes sense). I can maybe call this a chibi version of Minilla (baby godzilla)...?

 

Totally agree. I really like the recent and frequent bullmark releases. It feels totally underrated as a line when you see what Instagram seems to focus on. Also at a price that I don't mind the kids playing around with them. During the lockdown we made some photocomics with a few of the minis. Was great getting the kids involved. I think ultraman is at football practice today.

 

Where is it possible to purchase tbe Little Bullmark line, here in the States?

 

There are no American dealers for Bullmark. Hakaba Gallery does sell to foreigners but I'm told their shipping prices are high. You may be best off using a third party service like Buyee to get them via mail order directly from Bullmark.

 

Exactly! I think the lack be of attention they get is even crazier when you think of price point.
I bet you if their clear Hedorah line was lottery only and cost double you’d see them all over Instagram and people would “love them”.
Too much attention is put on hype and rarity these days vs actual quality.
