So theres a guy named, Charles Krafft, that makes a series of fine China called Disasterwear. Disasterwear is essentially 2 things, the evil nature of humanity, and fine bone china (made with real human bone BTW).... He's made a porcelain bust of Kim Jong IL, Charles Manson, Hitler, Aleister Crowley, and Amy Winehouse... He also has a large collection of fine china: automatic machine guns, grenades, skate decks, and of course CCTV cameras are all part of the collection...

Even though he's somewhat well known in the fine art world, he's managed to fly below the radar in the world of popular culture, that's where, Kozik, comes in...

Truth be told I really just wanted to introduce more people to, Krafft's, awesome work, but I personally think this was a cheap and blatant rip-off of a lesser known artist.

I won't glorify, Kozik, by puting a photo of his TOY up here but if you want to see his version, type the words, Kozik, Knife, and the name he uses for rabbits (they even produced a t-shirt).

One last thing... I tried to follow SB edicate on this one, and I'm really hoping I don't get torched, If anyone is offended I'll take this down post haste, I think there are a few people here that would get a kick out of Krafft, please P.M me if there's a problem and I'll change or try to get the post removed, or severely edit it.

I think I'm appalled by your spelling of the word "etiquette" more than anything else...

i think it's a portmanteau of "educate" and "etiquette"

The funny thing is that I actually corrected etiquette (self spell check, not automatic)... I have no idea why that unknown word is there... That honestly freaks me out...

I'm going to leave it just so people will get the Edumicate reference.

sp aside, if you post a thread in the Whatever forum, who can complain?

Edit: I guess the Krotch got rotted out. Didn't realize it was gone.

Just curious where is this Krotch Rot forum I've heard so much about, I've searched for it in the past to no avail...

I love Krafft's work, but I don't see this as a rip off, coincidence maybe, unless I am seeing the wrong rabbit with a knife in its back.

Glorify the Labbit! . . . it's on par with a lot of the self-indulgent, lowest common denominator shite being posted these days!

Eh. Say what you want about Kozik, but I don't see the problem here. It's not like harming bunnies is a novel thing.

I like Frank's version WAY BETTER. Are you sure Krafft did not rip-off Frank's Labbit? It's been around a long time, and the knife idea is not something that multiple people would think about. I want to put a knife in every D.unny I see, for instance.

I don't feel that it's a ripoff. If it were painted delftware style, maybe.

They did a show together about 6 years ago in Seattle (where Krafft lives). It had a Hitler theme. Wish I could afford Krafft's work. I need a delftware AK47 hanging over my mantel!

Two toys I don't get. They do have one thing in common...they are both crap in my opinion. But if people like them godspeed.

I used to collect Jp vinyl, and thanks to this thread, and that awesome pic Scary Andy posted I've now discovered Koxix. Whoever this mysterious genius is, he is, without doubt, a genius! That Lubbitt with a knife speaks to me on so many levels....rabbits, knives, plastic, paint, Hot Topic, and so much more I just can't put into words. Long live Frink Koozikk!

I don't know about Kozik, but Krafft doesn't make toys.

Kozik did a bunny with a knife in its head in the late 90s. Just saying.

Sorry...a clarification.. I don't know Krafft. I was referencing Kozik's "Smorkin" thing and rabbit stuff he makes.

The one I posted is also not a toy. It's porcelain.

You can learn a bit about Krafft here,

I think they are both ripping off serial killers who started by stabbing small animals as kids.
