Hey y’all! I have secretly been working on a new monster Toy! I got pictures of the first pull from the factory!

Designed and sculpted by me, The toy is called MUCK MARSHMAN, It stands about 8.5 inches tall.
Should be out in the coming months.
    Thanks for looking!

Good stuff. I get some MOTU vibes, Swamp Thing vibes, and traditional kaiju vibes a la M1. A lot of nice detail, but not overwrought. Looks like it would play well with Matango. There’s a lot to like here.

I like it! He’s gucky! Love the expression & the pose. Back is really nice and the textures work well together.

yes! Dig this. Plenty of texture variety but not overdone and not super gross. I would cop this. Can we see some more pics? (EDIT I see there's more at the IG link)

New piece looks great. The design is similar to something I would covet as a child but has nice adult sofubi collector appeal as well. Good Work!

Neil, wow man, I don't even know what to say. First of all, this came out of nowhere, and was a massive pleasant surprise to discover. So in a time where all of us are feeling a bit down and unlike ourselves, thank you very much for this delightful reveal, and for the fun it brought to my day. I am absolutely in love with your mushie swampy dude, and can't believe - but actually like - that you kept this under wraps until now. I think the others have totally hit it on head already, but man, so many good things about this sculpt. Plenty of details, but just the right amount of holding it back. Wonderful work on the texturing the proportions, and importantly the joints; all things which so many 'new toy makers' seem to just not get. I would easily take this as coming from someone with many years experience and a hand in toymaking already. The ST nod is obvious and wonderful, but the rest of the organic (those great nodules) + humanoid nature - it all just flows and works together. I think it is clear you did not debut this fellow until you were satisfied he was just right, and the effort shows. I am already picturing some excellent colourways possible on this guy (think GID vinyl for start, with just the right 'Yuji' touch of rainbow highlights). :) Really this just feels like a toy, which is all what I am about, and so many people aiming at that 'art market' don't grasp in the slightest. I am super excited see what the future holds for this dude, and most importantly to grab my hands on one and just play away.

Agreed. Looks like a fun toy, I like the Swamp Thing vibe but you went your own way with it, which is cool. Nice sculpting mate

Add me to the chorus of supporters. He's actiony without succumbing, homagey without apery, and I 100% want to twist his joints all night long. Success!

    Pardon the double post.

Oh, and +1 to everything that Steve had to say - missed his brick until after I dropped my sentence - and... I surly hope Mucky has a ladyfriend on the way!

Looks sharp Neil, glad to see he is pretty hefty in person too, I was hoping for big chunk of slime vinyl. Was this test paint just to play around, or something in line with what you are aiming for for the first release? Is the base colour that sort of pale green or did he start out like above?

The vinyl color is melon green.
The first run will probably be similar but, I’m going to do some more test paints.

Very nice! I think I'd like to see the face and boobies a little more mucked up, though. More rub or maybe a thicker mist of that darker green.

Or, for maximum kickassery, throw in a certain shade of blue for a full-on sparker tribute!

Really cool, Neil. I am thinking your Marshman is going to offer a lot of possibilities. Are you setting any aside from the first run as blanks, or doing them all up this way? Such small numbers (17?), how did you arrange for pulling of this batch?
