I just read this post and it made me sad. :(

Edit: oh man I didn't notice that there are a lot that are out of print now. This makes it a lot more difficult to get a full set going. I just did 2 buy it now options on Yahoo Japan because of this.

My only complaint about reading this entire thread is that there are so many dead photo links. I just got the GID King Smog I got on this forum, and god damn I really, really love this entire line. I want to shake Nari-san's hand some day. It really gives me that super nostalgic Showa-era magic that I love.

I did not see that either. Only the most popular references remain in production it seems.
Two out of the three 2015 references are gone, but the 2010-2011 references are all there...
I guess he could not maintain the whole catalogue alive by himself anyway.

Yeah I'm honestly really shocked that he's allowed the Tatsumakira to retire... it's still very new and frankly really neat.

I should try to ask him why he retired recent sculpts.

Would be so great if he released a set of menko cards with all his artwork. That King Smog art on the Hedegon header is my favorite.

New Devil UFO doll looks amazing!

Yea, Nari-san's artwork is always so nice.

Hadn't seen this Devil UFO guy until just now -- Very cool! It's kind of hideous, in a good way, and makes me think of the Eraserhead baby for some reason.

I'm curious what the first painted version will look like.

Yeah I'm totally down on getting the Devil UFO for sure. I'm also super curious on what the vinyl color and paint job will be.
Yeah I'm thinking of framing some of the headers for display. The one on the opposite of Meteorg has one of the DokuroTaro jets that I've not seen before.

Can folks please post pics of all previous header cards?

    Would really enjoy seeing them.

Thanks, reminds me that need to get that book before it goes out of print and the Kaiju sounds cd too.

Does this exist in soft vinyl or was it just a prototype concept?

Now that you mention it, I see some Guilala in there as well!

Sadly, that drill guy was only ever sculpted, never produced.

That's really a shame... there are a few kaiju he's drawn but never produced as well. Shame.

That actually looks like a work study the more I look at it, most likely done for fun.

It is pretty damn cool though either way.
Anyone here have that book he put out?

He has used crab claws more than anyone else who makes monsters yet never trite.

Damn, is that some gorgeous art. You can see where the imagination comes from. Far more than a lot of people thinking, 'hey, I can make a wacky toy!'

I can not think of another artist so devoted to his work in creation of Monster species.

Well it certainly looks like Nari-San made use of the Disk Kappa's UFO :)

Apparently most people are wanting this one in the Navy Blue vinyl and he's recommending if you want in to go for the Yellow vinyl instead. The new Puppet Seijin release is in a Lilac vinyl and looks doooope.

    Seems very tongue in cheek.

    Sitting on a crab louse?

    Pooping out a UFO?

Yet it seems both happy and satisfied.

    His imagination seems limitless.

I agree! I could actually picture Devil UFO being one of the Ultraman Leo saucer invader kaiju. His stylings are perfect Showa-era goodness!

hey everybody, can we please stop posting about live lottos?
it only adds more people seeing it, thus more entries, and decreases your (and everyone else who actively checks the site) odds of winning.
    thanks
