I think this came up once before on the board years ago... I'll tell the same story regardless: He came into a punk record store in washington DC that my friends worked at. He was very friendly, let everyone take photos and bought the following: 1 minor threat hoodie 1 Gorilla Biscuits record The man has good taste.
dude also has an insane evangelion (toys/posters/whatever) collection and also supposedly has pretty much every pair of bapesta's released.
yeah, you see him pretty often wearing them now. i'm surprised he hasn't reached out to nigo and got some custom one off joints made (probably already has)!
supposedly he shops at Ningyoushi and Darkside Initiative in SF for shoes and Wtaps. I think I remember the guys saying he's dropped into S7 as well. it would be interesting if he had a massive toy collection.
oh yeah think so too, its known he is into toys ever since - long before the hype. supposedly helped out toyshops in days of low business by buying up whole inventories back then.
Neat he likes Nathan Jurevicius, who is maybe my favorite "art-toy" or whatever artist... at least his older stuff.
The Bape stuff I can see, but I just can't imagine Robin Williams having shelf after shelf of Rei figures all chilling out in his penthouse...
on a side note, I remember reading a long time ago that whoopie goldberg bought a shitload of michael lau toys for deniro as a birthay gift.
