Ever spent any time inside an MRI tube? Not exactly the most pleasant place to be, not least of which because of the deafening noise the machine gives off while it's in action. To counter the effects they offer you noise-cancelling headphones with satellite radio pumped in. My tech asked me what I wanted to listen to; I said, "Velvet Underground, please." Instead I wound up trapped in Boogie Rock Hades: The only thing worse than hearing Foghat, the Bay City Rollers and '80s ZZ Top when you want to be hearing VU is hearing them while immobilized for an hour inside of a gigantic magnet.
