I notice you have no comment on the "hand" thing because it is totally true.

Y'all are just jealous that you don't have an anatomical feature resembling your geographic region =P. Born and bred and moved elsewhere but I still use the hand.

I would probably reduce it to a checkerboard of CORN and CRIME.

Not so much hands in general. We mainly like to focus in on mittens, and thumbs...

    Yes it's all true...

I am pleased to see that Texas is not lumped together with the "South". Calling Texas part of the "South" suggested that we like out iced tea sweet, which is a base lie.

OK, back to your midwest jokery. :D

After living in Missouri for a few years I feel like the state of Ohio sums up the midwest as a generalization. Granted there are numerous exceptions to the rule so don't take offense.

yeah... lake michigan, lake michigan, lake michigan, lake michigan and lake michigan was on of my faves.

^ I will admit there are aspects of the midwest that I really like. However I feel like I can find those aspects in little niche areas no matter where I live/visit in the US.

Yes, this map looks more correct to me. Do you think the red and blue were intentional, or just a coincidence. Please do not lead this conversation to politics based on my comment.
