Actually my wife is from the Upper Peninsula, you'd be surprised, how many really pretty girls live up there.
Y'all are just jealous that you don't have an anatomical feature resembling your geographic region =P. Born and bred and moved elsewhere but I still use the hand. I would probably reduce it to a checkerboard of CORN and CRIME.
Not so much hands in general. We mainly like to focus in on mittens, and thumbs... Yes it's all true...
I am pleased to see that Texas is not lumped together with the "South". Calling Texas part of the "South" suggested that we like out iced tea sweet, which is a base lie. OK, back to your midwest jokery.
After living in Missouri for a few years I feel like the state of Ohio sums up the midwest as a generalization. Granted there are numerous exceptions to the rule so don't take offense.
yeah... lake michigan, lake michigan, lake michigan, lake michigan and lake michigan was on of my faves. and i love the kamchatka peninsula comment, although they did misspell peninsula.
^ I will admit there are aspects of the midwest that I really like. However I feel like I can find those aspects in little niche areas no matter where I live/visit in the US. Yes, this map looks more correct to me. Do you think the red and blue were intentional, or just a coincidence. Please do not lead this conversation to politics based on my comment.
