Oh you can definitely see the improvement, still. I haven't really posted any before and after shots on my really grungy fellas because my camera is so poor and doesn't really capture the changes; but I do love to see care and attention restoring these toys to their rightful enjoyable conditions. They still have a lot of life yet.
@Shiverbones he looks great! Ive had good luck with baking soda toothpaste also, its a light enough abrasive that it doesnt harm the paint (wouldnt recomend it on silver). Here are the last two mandarake boxes ive gotten over the last couple weeks. Filling out the Osato toy roster, still have a bunch to go.
Really nice Jonathan! As I've already said a few times, a massive fan of those two mid-size guys you've picked up. So nice to get some mail like this, especially at times like these. I am trying so hard not to break too much into the Osato game, because I know once I do I will need to chase an entire army of them. (which would be a wonderful thing!)
Thanks guys! The nice thing about the finger puppets is they are pretty inexpensive and not too difficult to find (well MOST of them are).
Really nice Chandlar, @Shiverbones! Haha, that is quite the correction, but I am glad you were able to sort it out and that it wasn't down to a broken joint or anything. So nice when we can come across a fine version within a fair price bracket. Nice Robo' minis, Dave. One of those lines I have not fully dived in on, for fear of the rabbit-hole of collecting it might lead me to. I am already struggling to not complete the Kure Kure minis.

thanks all- its a breath of relief to complete the set after 8 years of scouring for deals. ill have to take a group shot soon- ive completed another set of vintage guys in the meantime too, just charging up the nice camera batter
whew, this is a big one for me, never really expected to have a zazan, especially not this nice. I had been searching for a recent repro, but those are tough and expensive anyway, so bit the bullet and bought this beauty
@Roger thats a beauty of a gorosaurus, especially if the spine is that strong all the way up! edit- just saw the spine in the other pic, wow!
Thanks. Both of these were pretty cheap at Mandarake. 8,000 for Gorosaurus and 12,000 for Kameba. I think they may be trying to move some inventory during this recession.
Wonderful additions, guys! @Shiverbones really lovely Zazahn. My favourite and getting more popular these days, so there seems to be a lot of competition. One of the joys I find with Zazahn hunting is how incredible all the paint variations are. You snagged a really nice one there. @Roger a delightful duo indeed. Patience and vigilance can pay off, those are fair prices on them. The shape on them is really wonderful, and of course the sculpts are a delight.
