whats your favorite godzilla toy ?

yeah...this guy is pretty cool. I'm sure someone has the ActionMan version. That one is awesome! I've only seen it in a case but at least I've seen it in person

 

I have four sculpts which I love (only own the brown glow dancing goji, but would love to own them all). All pics from Club Tokyo:





As you can tell (save the M1 bullmark style version) it's all about the 65-66 Goji for me.

 

That M1GO Godzilla is a cleverly resculpted version of the Bullmark Jirass, sans neck frill.

Here's my favorite, the Mattel Godzilla's Gang Godzilla, their Hong Kong clone of the Popy King Zaurus Godzilla:


Mine has some sort of defect where the left leg doesn't fit into the socket correctly. I tried fixing it with a hair dryer but no luck. I think it actually works out better because I normally display it this way, showing the magic footprint:



A while back I got some eraser clay and made some castings of the foot, I'll see if I can dig those up.

I tried to get a picture of mine at work today, but ran out of time.
Such a solid hunk of vinyl.
I've always been a sucker for the curved tail on the Marusan Goji.

 

I instantly fell in love with this one and have been trying to track it down since I first saw it. I hated that I didn't have money when it came up on the sale.

Jcrazy's Hellopike custom IS insane though!

 

I think my favorite is the Slash Company GID versions.
Is there sculpt a repro, or original?

I love the size, roughness, stance, paint, and of course GID.

 

I love these too. The Slash Company figs are repros of the Popy King Zaurus Toho series (Godzilla, MechaG, Rodan, Baragon, KingGhidora, and Gaigan). They also redid the Popy fighting G and Big Red G.

Jim, if I were lucky enough to own this, it would definitely be alone at the top of my list. But as to the ones I do own, I think this mold is my favorite:

 

This one stands out the very most to me due to having it since 1977, I still remember my dad bring it home.

But this M1 is also one of my faves.

Love the diver with the oxygen destroyer.

 

I LOVE this one! The GID diver makes it even better. Very nice.

 

I love that Toygraph Goji.I recently re-watched the first Godzilla film & theres a scene that that sculpt captures perfectly.

Its when he's walking through the city and theres a close-up of the suit's legs.They look very saggy & stumpy.I immediately thought of the Toygraph toy.

It's a tough choice, and it'll probably keep changing. But if I've to choose I'd go with Pilot Ace King Goji, and they've got the best header! M1go Bullmark Goji lost by a hair breadth though.

 

I took myself down. I guess i was missing the point although I looked pretty damn hot in front of godzilla.

 

I've got this sleeping godzilla in red, might be my favorite kaiju ever. But a close second is CCP's Burning Godzilla.

 

All of the Slash Godzilla toys are repros of old Popy toys.

I'd love to have that Slash vinyl version of the Jumbosaurus. Anyone know if it's bigger than the Marusan scaled-up Godzilla?
