wait til you try playing a goalie. if you ever wanted to know what it's like to stand in goal and feel the pressure of not knowing what a shooter will do, this is pretty close...although it does get kinda boring when the puck is on the other end :(

conflict in the IP address? that's the only thing I can think of, they're using the same IP.

you need to get some video codecs to decode these:

    TS Muxer get this

    FFMPEG get this

    avisynth and this

The PS3 doesn't have many native video codecs, so you need to have them on the base "server" i.e. your computer. Conversion happens while the PS3 is accessing the video files. With the PS3 media server (PC) you can turn on these options. Then, when you look for video files in the XMB you'll see a directory that says something like

    xTranscode

where you'll find options to watch videos that might need to be converted. I find this to be the case if someone encodes using a custom codec or something that's new.

    on a side note:

Resistance gets a space in HOME today! Thing looks effin' killer - check it here!

Zen Pinball ROCKS. Love the game - this brings back memories of playing pinball in college...15 years ago :(

Zombie Apocalypse = ho-ley crap - I cannot wait for this!

I just beat inFamous tonight following the "good" storyline. The game is a lot of fun and the cutscenes are like flipping the pages of a comic. I don't think the majority of games are worth $60, but this comes close. If you can get it for $40, it is well worth it.

I've heard a lot of good things about inFamous and will probably get it. I tried the demo and thought it was pretty fun. How many hours did you put into the game?

for tekken fans, the pre orders are up at gamestop and there is a joystick bundle available. includes a code for carboard tube ninja outfit for yoshimitsu

inFamous doesn't track your hours like Fallout 3 does, but I'd guess I put in around 30 to beat it. That's doing all the side missions and trying to get as many trophies on the good playthrough. Just started playing through the evil scenario and it will go a lot quicker since I know what to expect. I can tell the story will take an evil twist already

The graphics aren't the best but it doesn't bother me since the gameplay is so addictive. I'm not nit-picky if the game is entertaining and hard to put down, like this one.

I think if you look at the save file it will tell you the number of hours you logged.

I saw this yesterday (behind the times) and I gotta say, for once those higher price bundles pay off. the joystick alone, I believe is just under the bundle mark...

I'm playing the demo for Drake's Uncharted Beta multiplayer. Years ago I had registered a playstation 1 or 2 and got in on the Sony Beta list, which works out since the version I work with is a bit different than the general public one :D

Overall the game is great! Packed with a bunch of douchbags, but still fun (mute that chatter and it's better). Still not CoD4 multi, but compared to some that I've played as of late, better than most. Anyone do Killzone 2 multiplayer?

    Hell yeah!

It's still the only thing I play, for some reason I'm super into it and not into anything else that I've tried so far. Not a huge gamer.

Was talking to Pogue about Batman: Arkham Asylum and sure enough, the demo is out on the PSN. It seems pretty cool but I wish the demo had a bit more. Still, after playing the demo, it seems like it is going to be a pretty good pick up. Not completely sold on it but if I can find a way to get it cheap, I'd get it.

I just started InFamous and loving it.

Anyone get Fat Princess? I picked it up a few nights ago and I cannot put it down. It gets annoying when you're paired up with people who don't understand the team aspect of the game, but when you get a good group it's a lot of fun.

My PSN id is Cococroc, feel free to add me.
