Incredible job with the 3D representation of the wild things. Didn't think it would translate so well from 2D. Pretty excited for this one

This does look incredible; I'm excited to see this on a big screen. I can't imagine he'd have pop music in the actual film, though, if he wants to maintain the feeling of the book.
So stoked. I'm glad that it's FINALLY getting released. I remember last year the studio bigwigs thought it was "too dark" for children and were contemplating refilming it.
I am always dubious when a short, simple, well distilled thought is expanded into a 2 hr movie. It was one of my favorite books as a kid & one I read to my son many a night (Hell, I can recite the thing!) I really hope the movie works, but I am not convinced everything has to be made into a movie. Especially when the original is perfect.
