Started playing CSR2 on my phone. It's just drag racing but if anyone tries it out and wants to join my crew, just do a search for Obake Riders (super cheesy name, I know). So far it is a crew of 1 :)

Jumped on the Steam Sale the other day and got Armikrog. Point and click puzzle game and successor of The Neverhood. It's a bit glitchy here and there, but man.. the whole claymation style of it. So good. It just feels like I'm playing a game from the 90s. Puzzles aren't "too" hard.. unlike the Witness which is just stupidly difficult.

Currently playing Uncharted 4, Shadow Complex and burning Bravely Second New Game + on hard. I'm enthralled with Bravely Second. It's just so damn fun.

Xbox Ones store front has the game Hawken for free at the moment. FPS mech warfare. Pilot a mech which is fully customizable in both weapons and apparence. It's no Mech Warrior Online but it isn't garbage. If anyone has an Xbox1 I suggest checking out the free games/games with gold every once and while. You might find something you'd like.

Currently playing Fallout 4 again with mods on console. I really need to start The Witcher now that I have an new TV where I can see everything! (Had an old CRT HD TV that cut off parts of the screen).

I got in the beta of Paladins. It's pretty cool. Basically Overwatch but you earn cards. Cards can be used to add bonuses and stuff. It doesn't seem as fast as Overwatch but still kinda fun.

Nintendo introduces the NES Classic Edition

Okay, so it might not be as inclusive as say, getting a cheap PC and setting up your own emulator to have access to entire library of ROMs, but man, for the simple folk out there who just enjoy plug 'n play, for 60$ there is a whole lot of nostalgia to be able to sit down and enjoy this list of games again, without the hassle of diddling with the wires and blowing a million cartridges (wait, that didn't come out right):

Even if you can't add-in more classic through the 'net or Wii store later on, with classic controllers and beefed up modern technology supporting it, I think this would be a lot of fun.

Saw that posted the other day. I have a classic SNES but no NES, so this is actually really tempting. Plus Castlevania AND bubble bobble? jackpot.

I might get that just for a few of the games (Super Contra and Double Dragon mainly). I never had the NES growing up but borrowed a friend's once in a while. This will go nicely with my Atari 2600 and SNES.

You guys HAVE to check out this browser game called Town of Salem. It's so ridiculously addictive. I would explain it, but every time I explain it, it just sounds stupid. You have to actually play it to understand the appeal, but think an odd mix of lies, deception, teamwork, a board game, and a touch of insanity.

I wonder how much better that NES official emulator will be gameplay and graphics wise compared to my original system? Idk my NES plays fine and i have no issue with it however some of these games i don't have especially Metroid so i might take some money for this system if there will be more stuff you can download latter on.

What do you guys think about the NX Nintendo system being nothing more than a cellphone or a tablet? Some one brought this to my attention when i went to the store tonight and actually it could go this way. However i sure as hell wont be buying a damn phone to play games on. So they lose money on me with it if it turns out to be that.

I used to spend quite a bit of time emulating old games and I at least partially played a slew of SNES stuff (didn't have the system as a kid), and I did try some NES stuff but the games just seemed to primitive/difficult for me to spend much time with, I didn't realize there'd been a Metroid game on there, though. That actually looks pretty cool. And I thought Super Metroid was way ahead of its time.

I was just posting to ask if anyone knows if this will have some kind of enhanced save system? Games were so much harder back then that I really wouldn't have gotten to far on those SNES games without stuff like the emulator's save anywhere function.

I'm glad they're going back to the original formula. Some of those other Sonic games that came out in the 2000's were just awful.

Considering all the new games with retro graphics styles that are coming out to me it only makes sense for the franchise to go back to what made the game good in the first place.

I think after the Adventure series Sega got to overconfident in the 3D style and tried to capitalize on it in all the wrong ways while throwing away originally what made sonic good in the first place which was the 2D aspect. I really think Sega trying to go full 3D with all its franchises in general was one of the contributing factors to the companies downfalls in console making. And running there flag ship character through the mud with so much change didn't help. That's just my personal opinion though.

Addicted to Rainbow 6: siege. Smashing through plywood walls and blasting off baddies faces is just too much fun.

Quite interesting. Although the it keeps crashing.

Wish I could play it. Looks pretty neat. Same with War Of Rights, a Kickstarter backed game coming out. I'm a huge Mount & Blade fan so dealing with a first person American Civil War game is like a dream for us history nerds.

Yup! I don't play many video games, but I got this yesterday and I love it. I've only played for a few hours, but didn't experience any crashes.

Was thinking of creating a thread just for it if a lot of other people are playing it.

I ended up playing until like 3am.

It gets quite addicting, especially when you fix your ship and fly into space!! It has a lot of detail and depth. But, the closest planet to me is 2 hours away at full speed. I don't think I could sit there for that long.

I put in about an hour last night. I haven't even left the starting planet. It has a lot of plutonium.
