Its a fun experience, more so than a game. Kinda like "Dear Esther" It helps to have a nice pair of cans or good speakers.
Proteus is pretty neat. A good escape. Been grinding away on Fire Emblem. PS: G_Money, its almost worth buying a 3DS for. Would be th only game you need for a while. And just recently picked up DmC: Devil May Cry. Really surprised how awesome this game is. A reboot done right, and so fun to play. Killer visuals and action, insane level design, and great production. Very streamlined too.
Im pretty sure my wife would be pissed if I bought a 3ds right now. We have a kid coming any day now and I already have a vita and ps3 with games to be played still. I don't wanna push her over the edge. I will probably wait a few months until the price for the xl drops or a good bundle is released.
Anyone out there playing Ni No Kuni? Just working through the Hamelin missions, still dont think I've got the familiar balance quiet right... too many choices there.
I've been working on Ni No Kuni. It's tough to find time to play...I kind of forgot how grind-y jrpgs are.
^ I loved watching Megan play through Ni No Kuni, yes lots of grinding, but totally worth it IMO. Thoughts about the announcements? Deep Down looked visually amazing.
I thought it all looked pretty good. Now to save money for one. If its backwards compatible with ps3 stuff ill just sell my ps3 if not ill probably end up holding out for a few months. I'm playing ni no kuni too, haven't got too far in but I like it. I'm still more involved with persona4 golden. I was disappointed no true vita talk with the conference. I'm really holding out for memory stick price drop.
2hrs and they pull a nintendo and dont even show te console?! This announcement was exactly like the first wii u one where it was controller this controller that and look at all these awesome demos but no word on actual specs, price, media formats, or pretty much anything we really want to know. Im excited what the next gen will be able to offer just doubtful till i see it. Lookin forward to e3 more than ever this year with microsofts looming announcement and hopefully a pt 2 from sony.
I think its all pretty cool looking. Though, I can care less about the social aspect. And the Killzone game was cool until the guns came out, then it was neat. But great looking non-the-less, especially flying through the city. Same with the Drive Club game. I LOVE the Remote play aspect, and almost makes the Vita worth purchasing. Because that is where I would get a lot more gaming in. Mobile. And I respect that they are catering more to the developers, which will help for more exclusives and indie games to be made Speaking of indie games, anyone seen what the creator of Katamari Damacy is up to? http://venuspatrol.com/2013/02/wild-rum ... takahashi/
Im at the Teeheeti island part, really liking it so far. I have the same problem with the familiars. Im trying to stick to a set group so they all get leveled/evolved evenly. One annoying thing is no matter how you have the tactics set your other teammates do dumb things like using all their magic up on weak enemies, run right up to bosses, etc.
Manos: Hands of Fate. That horrible movie. Well, they someone made a game of it for iOS/Android. And its like the best movie game for the NES that never came out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... YJU3qybniE
On familiars: I really think it's entirely up to your play-style. I stuck with whichever familiars I had tamed first until the end of the game and had very little problems. When you're switching familiars the game will tell you which type is best suited for which character and if you assign them that type I think you get a 10% stat bonus. On AI: This was one of the worst parts of the game for me. I think adding more depth to the tactics selection would have made the battle system far more interesting. I ended up just stocking up on MP restores.
Got my 2nd 360 recently, sold the other one off several years ago. I don't have as much time to play it as I would like, but I have mostly been playing Far Cry 3 when I do get a chance. Great game so far.
Robot Rising...on Facebook! Yes...there is actually some semblance of a decent game on Facebook. So far it is kinda cool. You start off with a basic mech and then you go in to what would be equivalent to an instance and blow up other mech to collect resources. Use the resources to build buildings to upgrade your mech. I guess you could say it is kind of like Diablo...but with mechs. https://www.facebook.com/RobotRising
The only game I liked during the PS4 announcement was Watch Dogs. Killzone looked cool, but they aren't fooling anyone again.
Everyone should waste their money on the horrible-yet-awesome game like I did. Its so bad its good, then bad, and then good again. http://www.enviro-bear.com/ On another note, Starfox 64 is still awesome.
About to complete Dungeon 2 of Link's Awakening. Playing Mother 3 (sequel to EarthBound) on GBA emulator. On my phone. It is magnificent. And stuck on Fire Emblem: Awakening. Many grinding hours ahead of me... Gunning through DmC. Halfway through the game. Shooting and dodging Sin & Punishment 2: Star Successor. Stage 2 was a beast! And blazing through StarFox64 3D. Damn I love StarFox. And man I need to focus my time on one game. I'm getting no where with all of these! Haha
Sorry for double posting. I Am The 4th, did you download liberation maiden for iOS yesterday? From Grasshopper and Level 5. It's awesome.
Just started the new Devil May Cry, almost finished Darksiders 2 & Dragons Dogma.... Bonus rant: Why does Bayonetta 2 have to be a Wii "f..k"-U exclusive?!?
