Your shelves always amaze me Brian. This song popped in my head seeing this ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cRPH4lb8UI It's kinda about shelves space What are the glowish mini dudes at the bottom left of the first pic ?
The glowish dudes are actually a pale green, and are a set of SD Fireman and five Fireman villains that came with the collected series set (I remember laserdisc, but it may have been dvd) in the early 00's. The toys are not tax deducrible. I keep the business and the hobby separate. These are mine, paid with normal money. If super7 goes down, my collection will not be part of it.
I don't know what these cool little guys are but I wonder if they were the inspiration for the Blobpus mini Dokugan kaijin?
Looks like the grandstand at a toy soccer match. It makes me happy seeing all of them out in the open like that.
They were the first thing that caught my eye, possibly due to the lack of paint and the color. Upon closer inspection, I still love them, especially the robot guy right in front. The mini Pollards down front in the fifth pic are awesome. All of the pictures together are amazing, I keep looking at them to process all of it!
so much goodness packed so tightly on those shelves ! i rememder years ago being lucky enough to see brians collection in person, and just staring at it for over an hour.
As always, scobot pulls out some of the best photos of vintage stuff I have seen. I am torn when I see great shelf shots like that, I really love the way he arranged the figures by colour tones, but I also totally love the hodgepodge style of putting everything together in one jumble. I think the fact that he has done a bit of both just makes it that much more impressive.
