sometimes Secret Base makes me sick. - at first i got my paypal invoice 6 days later, when most of you guys had that package in your hands, - then they sended it out without any payment.... but i'm always fair and paid them..... - then the package travels across the whole world since 14 days...no idea what the hell happend there. - then i picked it up today at the custom office, again while SB employees wrote 1$ worth on the package ( and german custom officers are not stupid...nothing cost only 1$ )... - and THEN......the Rebel Captain is missing !!! the REBEL CAPTAIN.....the most important toy ever !!!! bad day at all. hope they will be cool and have one left to send me.
Probably best to give them a chance to respond before venting on a public forum Fabian. And regarding the amount they wrote on the customs slip, most retailers won't even bother to do that since it means they are essentially breaking the law for you as well as voiding out any insurance claim in case it was lost. I would be a bit more appreciative if they did that for me.
They make you sick? When human error comes into play? cool your rag and stop being a baby, look at the big picture for the amount of emails they will have received for these, and then the flakers non payers, people changing orders all before shipping comes into play. this post really pissed me off, have a bit of respect.
you might be right...human errors are totally cool in any way. no bad words on this, but.....i know about more than 20 people who got incomplete or wrong item packages on this halloween pavor set. and this is miss-managment. if you have a list of paid items and what to pack inside the package it is not that difficult to do it right. or not ? i don't talk about that email horror they surely have every day. may it's a german think to expect good service for good cash...no idea. but if so many things went wrong within 3 weeks......thats not funny. and thats the point i would say, do it better ! and this has nothing to do with missing respect....
No wrong or missing toys here, but I just received a small package with the toy wedged firmly inside sideways, which is probably the most questionable packaging decision I've ever witnessed, to put it politely. Luckily, it arrived unharmed.
i am sure that nothing is shady or on purpose, it just seems to me they are quite understaffed but do the best they can- when it rain it pours i used to work in logistics & it can be daunting to fill a few hundred orders then pack them up, label & get everything in the post within 24 hrs i got a few things in the past sent by mistake, when i politely inquired they let me just keep the wrong stuff then mailed me the right stuff not saying this will happen for you but its always best to keep level headed when it comes to handling others unknown errors stay cool & be patient.
Trying not to add to the SB bashing here, because they've always done right by me, but I'm having real trouble with them lately. Bought the latest bagman, paid for it...and that's it: no shipping confirmation, no nothing. Had my later-released Boogieman show up without any problems. Have emailed them a couple of times and all I get is "sorry this item is out of stock please e-mail if you will wait for cancellation". I'm tempted to just leave it so as not to get black listed because of a translation error but trying to get through to them in English is seemingly impossible and well, I never got my toy!
One time I received a box from them with a toy. When I had not purchased anything in quite some time. I guess it was a popular toy cause they asked for it back.
This is my current situation with SecretBase: I received "2nd chance/opportunity" email, replied that I wanted it, invoiced and paid. This was on 11/13. So it's been about 2 weeks with no updates. I shot them an email but fingers crossed they reply with good news.
Fair play to them - they came through with an email this morning apologising and with a tracking number for my missing order. It's definitely a struggle with the language barrier, but I was so scared to push it for fear of being blacklisted.
