I hope they do. I tried to visit the shop in Osaka, but it was closed the day I went. I really enjoy their aesthetic.
I was in Osaka and planned to drop by as well, but I was sick as a dog and had to leave the next day!
@Fedhai these just made me wanna ditch most of everything else and just do UST. Quite inspirational! Those sitting Kanegons are just magic!
Pretty sure you guys are aware of this Kemur release. Pretty much bummed out I didn't grab it on a recent Tokyo trip.
DO IT ! U.S.TOYS is my favorite maker by far, and it's a shame that there are no more admirers of this maker. By the way I have to update my group shot, I have much more pieces right now (but still crying to get the others giant Kanegon). This set was released some time ago, the last one is the red, here is the 3 set : View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram
^ Wow that i totally didn't know. The first and last Kemur set looks great and my son would def go nuts over the red patrol car! Again, great stuff @Fedhai !
It's raining and cold tonight. I opened the doors in the office, and in flew.... Landed on top of our large-format plotter, and asked if we had any spare chocolate. I had no idea US Toys made a Dodongo! Does anyone happen to know if there are other colorways of this critter?
@Mr. Humphreys - At least these 3... I'd be surprised if there weren't 19 more! Here's mine in the field:
Oh thank you fair toy sage, Deevis! I was hoping for an answer! Thanks too for the extra pics showing the different siblings. The US Toy Dodongo is going to make a fine companion for the Buta version
Great find @Mr. Humphreys ! I have the same to (and the yellow). There is 2 more colors to my knowledge : a green with gold spray and a pink with green spray (have to find pictures) and certainly more. I discover every days new colors. As soon as I have time I would post pictures of each model of my collection by color.
Here's my pink/green one Grace. He's enjoying shelf time with other pink friends. I got this one way back when Super7 distributed U.S. toys stateside. View this post on Instagram
Loving US Toys right now! So happy I completed my kneeling Ultra and Baltan crews! Hunting Miclas and Kanegons now. Great stuff. Really appreciate Fedhais help! Thank you sir!
US toys are one of the best out there. No gimmicks/No unnecessary bullshit hype. Just good old toys and they stick to what they know. Love them.
@leadster Thank you for sharing your pink Dodongo toy pic! He's beautiful!!! I didn't see it until just now! Now you've inspired me to complete the Dodongo line. Love all of the toys on that shelf! And yes, Bryce, good 'ole toys are the VERY best!
You're welcome my friend ! Truth ! U.S.TOYS is the definition of classic kaiju love. I can't see your pics, but I think you're talking about it : Miclas and Eleking released at the Hakaba Galery in Nakano for the Ultraseven 50 years anniversary. 30 pieces limitation each.
There was a release in collaboration with Wowshop to on pre-order of Eleking and Pegira (a middle set and a mini set of each) :
Eleking and Micras look so much better in hand with the metallic sprays. They both have a 1967 stamp on the foot. ?
It was a long time ago that U.S.TOYS had not realized new sculpts and there are no less than 7 are announced. I am really glad to know that it continues to release new pieces !
Oh wow, a Jamila!! One of my real favs, so excited to see him get some UST love. And yes, what amazing stuff it is to see new sculpts from them after years [of still incredibly excellent] production on the lineup they have. Those mid-size Baltans are quite intriguing too, as they are larger than the normal line-up, but not the shampoo-style guys. I guess only the packaged figures from the sets (e.g. Kemur), and possibly the Garamons, had this same style? Sidenote: @sensensempompom Ben, very nice to see you posting again, I feel like it has been far too long.
